<p>As little hammy pedals his butt off, he generates his own shredded paper bedding. Fortunately, this isn&#8217;t a real product, rather it&#8217;s part of artist <a href="http://www.tomballhatchet.com/">Tom Ballhatchet&#8217;s</a> installation, planned for display next week in Milan, Italy.</p>
<p>Not feeling environmentally friendly? I suppose you could always defeat the purpose of this device by hooking up one of these <a href="/blog/2006/10/02/usb-device-of-the-week-hamster-wheel/">USB powered hamster wheels</a>.</p>
