The sides on the bag can attached, to make a more box-like shape for your toiletries. Instead, if you want to use it as a gadget folio, just undo the sides, and it has enough space for your iPad or 11-inch MacBook Air. You might be able to fit a few more items in there along with it. Just don’t try and actually put your laptop and your hair gel in there at the same time – I can’t imagine that’d be a good idea.

The folio looks pretty handsome and comes in four different varieties. The canvas versions will cost you $149 while the leather ones will set you back $189.

Frank Hsueh was exactly in that predicament. He based his iPad sleeve on a simple bubble wrap shipping envelope, which he MacGyvered together by covering it with both double-sided and duct tape.

The final touch included an Apple sticker from an iPod shuffle to give the duct tape sleeve a bit more class (assuming duct tape could have class). The resulting sleeve is pretty unusual and looks sturdy – assuming none of that evil duct tape goo ever gets on the screen of his iPad.

The BookBook is a hardcover leather case for MacBooks and MacBook Pros, though I’d bet that it fits other laptops as well, assuming they’re of the 13 or 15-inch variety.

It’s available in two colors, either classic black or vibrant red. Both colors are finished in a hardback leather case. What I really like is that the laptop will almost disappear in a bunch of books. I can’t really think of a better way to hide your laptop from would-be thieves.

I think it’s also safe to say that this particular design wins due to the inclusion of a game of classic monochrome Tetris. The very sight of it inspires a bit of green-tinted nostalgia, doesn’t it? This project is the first Craftster member instantblue has posted. It’s good to start near the top, eh?

The case itself is made of felt, but the designs required a little more flash: the buttons are made of sculpey clay, and the rest was done with stencils and the help of a good ol’ inkjet printer.

You can buy on of these groovy laptop sleeves for $40 from Barry’s Farm. The sleeve is made of heavy duty vinyl and padded with 1/4 fabric backed foam, with a flannel lining to caress your computer.

This kind of reminds me of those severed female torso mice from a few weeks back, except in a more masculine, buttoned-up format. Glad to see there is some gender equality when it comes to severed torso-inspired design.

How could you resist going out on a night on the town with these great Pac-Man cufflinks on your wrists? Handmade by Sarah Lynne Designs, they feature the likeness of Pac-Man on one cuff and a blue ghost (presumably spawned after a tasty power pill) on the other.

Sarah makes the cufflinks from sturdy brushed aluminum and then coats them with a heavy-duty resin for that glossy sheen. The intricate character designs are made from hand sculpted wire and paint, while the dots are made from teeny, tiny beads.
