The other day I told you about how the Nintendo DS version of Arkanoid would get its own special paddle controller. As it turns out, another new game for the DS comes with a special analog controller too.

The Japaneses import title Suraidoadobencha Magukiddo (aka Slide Adventure: Mag Kid) comes with a device that works like an optical mouse strapped to GBA port of your DS. The controller plugs into the bottom of the DS or DS Lite and makes you glide your system around on a tabletop to control the game.

The game centers on Mag Kid’s attempts to reassemble a broken robot by wandering around a house and recovering all the missing parts. As you search for the pieces, there are a variety of enemies who you have to take on. In addition to the main game, there are about a dozen mini-games which also take advantage of the mouse-like control scheme.

The game and controller is available for order now from NCSX for $58.
