Plus, with the Limited Edition, packaging created by Yoji Shinkawa, the series’ lead artist and a 248-page art book titled The Art of Metal Gear Solid.

The collection includes Substance and Subsistence versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 in HD, Peace Walker, the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Konami didn’t show off much of the book when they announced this bundle, but if you are a fan, you already know that you have to get this. It has to have something good within it’s 248 pages right? Although how many times can they show Snake sneaking around from different angles before you get bored?

This bundle will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 8. The limited edition will sell for $79.99 (USD), while the standard edition is available for $49.99.

risk mgs edition 1 I’d prefer a mash-up of Risk and Civilization myself, but I have to admit, this game looks pretty cool. It’s limited to just 2,014 units and features custom box top art from Yoji Shinkawa, the Art Director of the Metal Gear games, not to mention an awesome game board.

Other features include over 290 custom game pieces, which include: 5 PMC Armies, 8 Bosses, Outer Haven Battleship, Drebin’s Shop Cards, Territory Cards, PMC Headquarters, Custom Outer Haven Game Board, Custom Earth Game Board and 7 dice.

This is a game that any serious MGS fan will want to own. You can pre-order it from October 3 through November 15 and it ships in November. You don’t even need to be sneaky to get it. Price is unknown at the moment.

Despite having no idea who Solid Snake was, Crafter averyg ended up having to make a plush Snake for Craftster’s Poppet Mini Swap (yes that’s “poppet”, not “puppet”), in which crafters have to make a requested doll for their swap partner.

Other than the giant head and lack of a nose or mouth, the felt and pipecleaner version of Snake is a dead ringer for Hideo Kojima’s Snake. Although I’m not quite sure about the eyes either. I’m pretty sure that when the government wanted to create the perfect soldier, they weren’t thinking about his eyelashes.

Between the spiky banadana’d hair and the stubbly facial hair, to the cigarette in the corner of My Little Pony’s mouth, this Solid Snake pony is full of win. I bet that Hideo Kojima has a whole farm full of these things.

Some of the gadgets include a reverse parachute thingy that can be used to rescue or abduct people. It looks like it takes quarry up to a chopper, and for some reason it works even indoors! Enough with the spoilers, enjoy the video!

Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. Jamie looks kinda creepy though. Adam’s spot on, but I still like Lolcat Adam better. You can get the myth busting dolls for $46 (USD) at Rin’s Etsy shop.

“War has changed. War has become routine. And for some reason I know nothing about what’s going on and always have to be informed by Otacon and everyone else around me.” So says Old Snake, who for some reason seems to be carrying sausages around his neck. Unfortunately, the Snake doll is not currently on Rin’s Etsy shop, but I’m pretty sure she won’t turn you down if you ask her to make you one.
