Sony Japan recently released a new USB mouse with a unique twist. Simply pick up the mouse from your desktop, and it flips open to become a Skype telephone handset.

Apparently Sony thinks this one little “Special Screw” is so special, that it’s worth over 61 euro (appx. $82 US Dollars.) All I can say is, WTF?

Shipping this July, Sony’s latest home theater system distinguishes itself by having some of the smallest satellite speakers I’ve ever seen.
Amazingly the $800 DAV-IS10’s five tiny little speakers can crank out 50-watts each, which should be more than enough for producing decent levels…

Whee. Sony is rolling out yet another firmware upgrade for the PlayStation 3 console.
The impending version 1.80 upgrade adds a couple of new features, but the most significant one purportedly adds upscaling of DVD, Playstation and PlayStation 2 games to as much as 1080p resolution…

Thanks to some images that were floating around on the FCC website, rumors have floating around for a while that Sony was working on an 80GB version of the PlayStation 3.
Well, it turns out the 80GB model is real. However, for now, it’s only coming out in South Korea…

Japanese game accessory maker Hori has revealed their upcoming racing controller for the PlayStation 3.
The Zero Tech 3 controller features a trigger-grip design with a sideways mounted analog steering control. The unique design allows players to use their left hand to control the accelerator and brake triggers, while the right hand controls steering…

Soon, the PlayStation 3 will get its own version of the popular Eye Toy gadget. The new camera won’t win any beauty pageants, thanks to its odd oversized microphone and bulbous head.
The giant microphone apparently does have a purpose, however, with multiple elements to help filter out unwanted background noise…

There’s been a bit of buzz lately that Sony is working on new PS3’s with larger hard drives. Heck, a photo even surfaced on Kotaku today of a box from one of the supposed new 80GB models.
There is compelling evidence that Sony was testing a new 80GB model with the FCC a little while back, too…
