A pretty neat solution? Fruitwash labels.

They’re fruit stickers that turn to fruit soap when rubbed under running water. Aside from eliminating the need to go out and buy some fruit and produce soap, you can just go rub-a-dub and wash off water-resistant wax, fungicides, and pesticides off of your fruit.

Scott Amron came up with the concept for these Fruitwash labels just recently, and I’m surprised why someone hasn’t already done so earlier. Scott is currently selling off a 10% stake in the Fruitwash label intellectual property (in other words, patents) for anyone who wants to participate in this unique invention.

This vinyl decal sticks to the outside of your MacBook, giving it the illusion that it’s had its cover removed, and its guts are hanging out for all to see. The decals are made by CrystalMacBook, and are actually based on 1:1 scale photographs of the innards of the MacBook, and precision-cut to fit.

They’re available for the 13-inch or 15-inch MacBook for $16.99 (USD) each over on Etsy. The only thing cooler would be an actual see-through case for the MacBook, so you could see the real guts of the system – like this iPhone mod.

I haven’t seen Totoro decals before, but they oddly make sense and serve as a reminder that I should probably watch that movie again.

This city skyline one is sort of reminiscent of the The Dark Knight Rises teaser poster.

You’ll also find a cherry tree decal, which is also quite interesting, as well as some fan favorites like Snow White. All of StickerFun’s MacBook decals are available for $9.99 (USD). Just like any wares on Etsy, they could go pretty fast, so if you like what you see, you’d better act quickly.

Just like in the movies, the “safest” way of disposing of a hard drive would be a strong electromagnet or some white phosphorous explosives. Since most of us don’t have easy access to either of these, I guess this sticker do quite nicely.

The sticker is for the iPhone 4, and makes the back of the camera look like the white and rainbow covered OneStep instant. My parents had the black one, but I do recall this camera from my youth. The sticker has a cut out over the lens and flash so you can still shoot pics. The sticker should keep scratches off the back of the device too.

What this needs is an app that doesn’t show the pics until you shake the phone for a while and makes that noise the camera makes when the photos shoot out. You can pick one up for about $6 over at PhotoJojo.

Thanks to Apple’s ingenious smooth gorilla glass front and back on the iPhone 4, you can easily apply decals to the backside, and the guys at Topdecal took advantage of this with their clever decal design. Just slap this removable vinyl label on the back of your pal’s iPhone 4 when they’re not looking, then flip the phone upside-down from where they left it. Next time they go to answer a call, hilarity (followed by a swift beating) should ensue.

Like the antenn-aid, this decal started out as a prank, but now that people are clamoring for a real one, creator Aaron Draczynski is working on making it real. So that’s two new products created thanks to Apple’s new feature. More people given an additional means of earning a living. That’s just Magical. Revolutionary. Thanks Apple.

A full set of the removable vinyl decals includes everything you need to set up a Pac-Man-eats-apple scenario on any one of your Apple gadgets. And while it’s probably not as clever for Pac-Man to eat, say, a DELL or HP logo, they’d still look pretty cool on one of their laptops too.

Sure, the Snow White vinyl sticker is really neat, but Iron Man kind of kicks Snow White’s butt into next Sunday. MusicSkins doesn’t have that many designs, and some of them don’t look so hot – to me at least – but the good thing about MusicSkin is that they don’t just make skins for laptops, gaming devices and iPods. The Interpol skin featured above for example  - $30 (USD) for the 17″ laptop version – has a ton of other versions, like for Sansa Disks, Blackberries and even Seagate’s FreeAgent Go external hard drive.

As I said, the selection isn’t that varied; I’m also curious as to how the company decides which artists to feature, because their selection is a bit odd. But there are gems in there, like the Sex Pistols skin featured above ($20 USD for the Nintendo DS lite version), as well as non-music related – but still decent – designs, like the explodingdog design you see below ($20 for the PSP Slim version).

And if you think that all of MusicSkins’ offerings suck, you can upload your own images and design your own skin. I think I’ll make me a Three Wolf Moon skin for my Macbook.

These Memo Film notepad stickers actually aren’t a bad idea; there’s definitely plenty of reason to take notes while grinding away at one of the DS’s lengthy RPGs. But for ¥399 ($4.19),  you can’t really expect amazing quality.

Created by a Vancouver, BC graphic artist going by the moniker “Fame”, the set of vinyl stickers are perfect for any smooth surface. Each set comes with a variety of square blocks in orange, green, fluorescent green, yellow, red, blue and purple. A full set of decals will set you back $42 bucks, and can be found over on Etsy.

The best part about this version of the game is that the board never fills up (unless you splurge and purchase 3 or 4 sets of ‘em).

The labels say “Now Slower and with More Bugs”, making them perfect on a copy of Windows Vista or maybe even Mac OS X Leopard. But they don’t just work with software. They’re also great when applied above that flashing red ring of death on your Xbox 360 or on your copy of the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed. The possibilities are endless.

I also find the part about “more bugs” particularly funny when stuck on a box of Wheaties or Rice Krispies, although I’m not sure the “slower” part makes too much sense in that context. Eh, how much can you expect from a 25 cent sticker?
