Do those tiny stickers stuck prominently on your fruit annoy you? Well, they sure annoy me. Sometimes they’re hard to remove, even under running water, so the fruit ends up with little scratch or fingernail marks (which are obviously bad to look at) thanks to yours truly trying to pry them off.

A pretty neat solution? Fruitwash labels.

They’re fruit stickers that turn to fruit soap when rubbed under running water. Aside from eliminating the need to go out and buy some fruit and produce soap, you can just go rub-a-dub and wash off water-resistant wax, fungicides, and pesticides off of your fruit.

Scott Amron came up with the concept for these Fruitwash labels just recently, and I’m surprised why someone hasn’t already done so earlier. Scott is currently selling off a 10% stake in the Fruitwash label intellectual property (in other words, patents) for anyone who wants to participate in this unique invention.

If you’ve ever thought about tearing open your MacBook to see what was inside, you could always head over to iFixit for one of their tutorials. But if you’re too chicken to get out the Torx driver and start going to town, here’s another solution.

This vinyl decal sticks to the outside of your MacBook, giving it the illusion that it’s had its cover removed, and its guts are hanging out for all to see. The decals are made by CrystalMacBook, and are actually based on 1:1 scale photographs of the innards of the MacBook, and precision-cut to fit.

They’re available for the 13-inch or 15-inch MacBook for $16.99 (USD) each over on Etsy. The only thing cooler would be an actual see-through case for the MacBook, so you could see the real guts of the system – like this iPhone mod.

Etsy vinyl decal stores are a dime a dozen, but from time-to-time you come across something cool. These great decals by StickerFun are pretty sweet, especially the ones from Miyazaki’s My Neighbor Totoro.

I haven’t seen Totoro decals before, but they oddly make sense and serve as a reminder that I should probably watch that movie again.

This city skyline one is sort of reminiscent of the The Dark Knight Rises teaser poster.

You’ll also find a cherry tree decal, which is also quite interesting, as well as some fan favorites like Snow White. All of StickerFun’s MacBook decals are available for $9.99 (USD). Just like any wares on Etsy, they could go pretty fast, so if you like what you see, you’d better act quickly.

While I don’t think that hackers need any info on how to destroy their data in case of an FBI raid, other people might need a helping hand. Here’s the easiest way to destroy your hard drive, in case of an emergency. FYI, you’d best keep a drill handy.

Just like in the movies, the “safest” way of disposing of a hard drive would be a strong electromagnet or some white phosphorous explosives. Since most of us don’t have easy access to either of these, I guess this sticker do quite nicely.

You can find the pattern to print out right here. Randy Sarafan recommends that you check the appropriate iFixt teardown to locate the exact position of your laptop’s hard drive before applying your sticker.

Anyone who grew up in the 1970s or 1980s has seen and probably used one of the Polaroid instant cameras with the pics that shoot out the front and develop themselves. The cameras are largely extinct, and the film is scarce. If you want to give a bit of cool retro style to your iPhone and like that old Polaroid you need this sticker.

The sticker is for the iPhone 4, and makes the back of the camera look like the white and rainbow covered OneStep instant. My parents had the black one, but I do recall this camera from my youth. The sticker has a cut out over the lens and flash so you can still shoot pics. The sticker should keep scratches off the back of the device too.

What this needs is an app that doesn’t show the pics until you shake the phone for a while and makes that noise the camera makes when the photos shoot out. You can pick one up for about $6 over at PhotoJojo.

Looking to play a really cruel trick on your buddy with an iPhone 4? Then grab one of these clever decals which turns the back of the iPhone into the front. Or is it the other way around?

Thanks to Apple’s ingenious smooth gorilla glass front and back on the iPhone 4, you can easily apply decals to the backside, and the guys at Topdecal took advantage of this with their clever decal design. Just slap this removable vinyl label on the back of your pal’s iPhone 4 when they’re not looking, then flip the phone upside-down from where they left it. Next time they go to answer a call, hilarity (followed by a swift beating) should ensue.

You can grab one over at Topdecal’s Etsy shop for $9.99 (USD). If they’re sold out, keep checking – they seem to be replenishing as they sell ‘em.

Aside from FaceTime, the Retina Display and the revolutionary paradigm-shifting flawlessly perfect antenna, a select few iPhone owners also get access to one more new feature: a dedicated, touch-sensitive End Call button. Apple just forgot to label it, but that’s easy to remedy:

Like the antenn-aid, this decal started out as a prank, but now that people are clamoring for a real one, creator Aaron Draczynski is working on making it real. So that’s two new products created thanks to Apple’s new feature. More people given an additional means of earning a living. That’s just Magical. Revolutionary. Thanks Apple.

UPDATE: And sure enough, Engadget reports that the decal is now for sale on Etsy for $4 (USD) for a set of four.

So by now, the entire universe knows that Steve Jobs offered up free bumpers and cases for iPhone 4 users to help them with dropped calls from the so called “death grip” issue if you touch the lower left side of the iPhone while making a call. While I appreciate the gesture, here’s a much simpler and less wasteful solution, which manages to be both practical and amusing at the same time.

These whimsical Antenna-aid stickers fit perfectly on the corner of your iPhone 4, covering up the extra-sensitive metal spots, all the while poking fun at the overblown problem. For just 99 cents, you’ll get two Antenn-aid stickers, and you can choose from a variety of colors. Personally, I’m going with the peach one. You can grab a set over at Antenn-aid’s Etsy shop now.

Or if you happen to have a box of those tiny fingertip Band-aids sitting in your first-aid kit you could probably achieve the same thing for free.

These Pac-Man stickers from Moscow are perfect for adorning the back of your iPad, iMac or Mac Book, thanks to the incorporation of the Apple logo as a fruit for Pac-Man to gobble down. From what I recall, the apple was worth about 700 points in the game, so it’s a pretty good bonus opportunity to gobble one of these down. (although I always wanted one of those 5000 point keys or 3000 point bells instead).

A full set of the removable vinyl decals includes everything you need to set up a Pac-Man-eats-apple scenario on any one of your Apple gadgets. And while it’s probably not as clever for Pac-Man to eat, say, a DELL or HP logo, they’d still look pretty cool on one of their laptops too.

Just in time for the hype for the next Iron Man movie to begin, this Iron Man vinyl decal sticker lets you customize your MacBook with superhero style.

Sure, the Snow White vinyl sticker is really neat, but Iron Man kind of kicks Snow White’s butt into next Sunday. The great thing about these decal stickers is that they can be removed quite easily and don’t leave a sticky residue behind on your precious laptop. This means that if you are planning on getting rid of your MacBook at some point, you won’t have to worry about these customizations.

The Iron Man decal can be yours for $16 (USD) with free shipping from Movieman’s Etsy shop. It’s available in white, red, or black. If those don’t tickle your fancy, then you can find other great stickers, which include Darth Vader, storm troopers, LEGOs, and more.

One of the reasons why Nokia’s cellphones became so popular here in the Philippines was the fact that most of their earlier models had cases that were easy to remove and swap, providing a bit of customization. Now gadgets mostly come in black, gray or white, and even if there are still devices that have a variety of colors or designs like the PSP, their cases aren’t easy to remove. Hence the popularity of skins. MusicSkins is one of the myriad of brands of gadget skins out there, and as their name implies, it mostly features artists and album art.

MusicSkins doesn’t have that many designs, and some of them don’t look so hot – to me at least – but the good thing about MusicSkin is that they don’t just make skins for laptops, gaming devices and iPods. The Interpol skin featured above for example - $30 (USD) for the 17″ laptop version – has a ton of other versions, like for Sansa Disks, Blackberries and even Seagate’s FreeAgent Go external hard drive.

As I said, the selection isn’t that varied; I’m also curious as to how the company decides which artists to feature, because their selection is a bit odd. But there are gems in there, like the Sex Pistols skin featured above ($20 USD for the Nintendo DS lite version), as well as non-music related – but still decent – designs, like the explodingdog design you see below ($20 for the PSP Slim version).

And if you think that all of MusicSkins’ offerings suck, you can upload your own images and design your own skin. I think I’ll make me a Three Wolf Moon skin for my Macbook.

These Memo Film notepad stickers actually aren’t a bad idea; there’s definitely plenty of reason to take notes while grinding away at one of the DS’s lengthy RPGs. But for ¥399 ($4.19), you can’t really expect amazing quality.

Not that we’d get any potentially useful accessories in the U.S. anyway, and that includes these. Want ‘em? Import ‘em. And let me know what notes you’re so desperate to take.

Created by a Vancouver, BC graphic artist going by the moniker “Fame”, the set of vinyl stickers are perfect for any smooth surface. Each set comes with a variety of square blocks in orange, green, fluorescent green, yellow, red, blue and purple. A full set of decals will set you back $42 bucks, and can be found over on Etsy.

The best part about this version of the game is that the board never fills up (unless you splurge and purchase 3 or 4 sets of ‘em).

The guys over at Evil Mad Scientist Labs created these wacky stickers that you can slap on the boxes from your gadgets, video games and software.

The labels say “Now Slower and with More Bugs”, making them perfect on a copy of Windows Vista or maybe even Mac OS X Leopard. But they don’t just work with software. They’re also great when applied above that flashing red ring of death on your Xbox 360 or on your copy of the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed. The possibilities are endless.

I also find the part about “more bugs” particularly funny when stuck on a box of Wheaties or Rice Krispies, although I’m not sure the “slower” part makes too much sense in that context. Eh, how much can you expect from a 25 cent sticker?

You can grab sheet of 10 of the fluorescent stickers from the Evil Mad Science shop for just $2.50.
