As my sister has told me, it’s sometimes a pain to travel when you’ve got babies because of the strollers. It takes a while to fold the entire thing and set it up, it takes a bit longer to make your baby leave your arms and sit in it (if you’ve got a particularly needy baby, then, well, it will take much longer), and another while to fold the entire thing back up again for storage.

So to my sister and to all the other parents in the world, be prepared to welcome the Origami Stroller into your lives to make stroller handling easier and more convenient. With the turn of a knob and push of the button, the stroller either folds itself ready for storage or unfolds itself to be ready for use.

Aside from that, this is also the first stroller of its kind to come bundled with so many features. It can charge your cellphone, count your mileage, and comes with daytime running lights and pathway lights for low-light conditions. It also comes with an LCD display and sensors that detect if there’s a child in the seat or not. You know, to prevent folding it up when your kid’s still sitting on it.

Sounds amazing, right? The Origami Stroller launches on January 6, 2012 and is priced at – brace yourselves – $849.99(USD).

AT-AT Walker Stroller: For Babies Born on Hoth

While this isn’t recent (it actually dates back to 2007), it’s still fun. With parents spending way too much on strollers, it’s cool to see this Imperial AT-AT Walker Stroller in capable hands, and built on a budget.

Rick Russo wanted his son Reed to get to know the original Star Wars as soon as he came out of the womb, that’s why he came up with this hack for his son’s stroller. The body panels were cut out of foam from a cardboard template and tied together with zip ties. It took Rick between 30 to 40 hours to complete this hack.

The whole thing looks pretty cool and undoubtedly sets this stroller apart from all of the gazillion others. It’s a perfect idea for all of the Star Wars fans having their own kids, and it’s bound to be fun for the tots as well. Remember, it’s never too early to start your kids on Star Wars.

You probably know by now that young Spartans proved their worth by being beaten up senseless and killing – or being killed by – comically large wolves. We modern men are not as barbaric; we’re content with having our babies ride cyclops-head strollers.

This extremely detailed monstrosity is from Elmer Presslee, house of weird furniture and art. It’s owned by William Robbins, who according to his profile “went to school for a while.” That explains the weird stuff. School does that to you.

Jeebus. In case you haven’t noticed, the baby sits on the brain of the cyclops, which is probably what’s making his eye pop out like that. Imagine if someone sat on your brain.
