My personal favorite has to be the Stormtrooper mouse, but I have to say that the Darth Vader, Jabba the Hutt and Wall-E ones are pretty awesome too. Actually, he kind of swallows it and the toy comes with the game. The game uses the stuffed animal as the game’s controller. The game is called Wiiwaa and the Wii-mote enables the toy to become motion-sensitive. By shaking and bouncing the puppet around, kids can replicate those same movements in the digital world of the game.

This is just the start. It can also be thrown around and a whole bunch of other movements.

It sounds like an interesting new way of using the Wii. Parents and kids everywhere will once again be fighting over Wii-motes! Check out the full trailer below to see Wiiwaa in action:

Created by Wisconsin crafter KungFuCowgirl, each of the squishy game systems has its own unique personality, thanks to the slight variations in each handmade Gameboy.

They measure in at just a wee-bit bigger than an original Gameboy and come in red, yellow, green, pink or teal. They cost just $14 bucks a piece (so why not buy a bunch?) You can find ‘em over on Etsy.

Created by Lady Harvatine, the stuffed arcade machine captures the spirit of some of my fondest arcade memories. Inspired by these most excellent papercraft arcade creations, she set off to create her own unique spin on the arcade classic. The centerpiece of the squishy system has to be the piece of retro Pac-Man fabric that a friend of hers scrounged up for the screen.

Affectionately known as “Pac-y”, the plush arcade machine has a stuffed joystick and two coin slots that actually will eat your coins (there’s a zipper in the back that lets you retrieve your money).

The machine is the first of the Lady’s “Harvacade” collection. I’m hoping for some Donkey Kong or Dig Dug next.

Pac-Man, his ghost pals Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, and a slightly out of place Pooka from Dig Dug are all realized in three squishy dimensions. The pillows range in size from about 8-inches to 12-inches tall, and will look great sitting there on your sectional sofa next to the cat.
