Bodum’s Bistro flatbed toaster is a versatile device. Thanks to its design, the 700 w toaster can heat, toast or defrost almost any size or shape of bread.

The design has its drawbacks of course, like being able to toast only one side at a time, so that may be a deal breaker for some folks. But if you’re looking to liven up your kitchen, then you’ll be glad to know that the Bistro comes in all sorts of crazy colors.

Or I guess I should say it will come in all sorts of crazy colors; I’m not sure, but I think right now only the default color scheme is available. You can get the Bistro flatbed toaster at Amazon for $80 (USD). Are you insane and would rather pay an extra $10? Then get it at Hammacher Schlemmer. And oh I just thought of another drawback: compared to the common slot-loading toaster, it’s easier to accidentally burn yourself on a flatbed toaster. At least it’ll only burn one side at a time, right? Right?

muji wall-mounted cd player: pull string, hear music

Now this is something I really really want: a stylish, easy-to-use CD player. Pull the string to turn the player on, pull it again to make the player stop. The volume and search buttons are on top of the player. That’s all there is to it; beauty in simplicity. Drop Me a Lime, LILAC You Mean It, Frankly Scarlet–you’ve just got to love the names of these chic new Bluetooth headsets from Jawbone… and they don’t look half bad, either. It takes a snazzy set of colors to live up to those names, for sure.

Of course, you may need runway-ready styling to pull off that level of excellence, but for the rest of us, the Jawbone headsets look pretty good on their own.

It’s not all about aesthetics, though, and that’s good news, considering these babies retail for $130 apiece. Jawbone’s new brightly colored headsets promise 5x better call clarity in noisy environments. Now if only they could have managed something like slip-off covers so you weren’t stuck with only one color.

Areaware’s 2B Radio lets you enjoy the “big, warm, radiant sound” that can only be produced by vacuum tubes, along with a Braun-inspired minimalist design.

Aside from an AM & FM internal antenna, the 2B Radio also has an aux input and a recording output, so you can pair it with modern audio devices.
