From the look of these images, the new model will come in several bright, candy colored finishes which should appeal to the teen market. The T-Mobile Sidekick ID is at the low-end of the line, costing about $99 (after $50 rebate and contract.) While skinny on price, the phone is expected to include all of the most popular features including AIM, Yahoo! and MSN Messenger clients, e-mail, a web browser and a phone. The device is also said to deeply integrate T-Mobile’s “myFaves” feature. The Sidekick ID is should be available around April 18th.

I’ve heard of pest eradicators that use ultrasonic sounds to drive off rodents and insects, but this is the first humane way I’ve heard of to get rid of those annoying teens.

Coined the “Mosquito Ultrasonic Teenage Deterrent,” the device emits annoying tones that can only be heard by those aged 20 and younger. The device is based on the same principal of the silly “mosquito” cell phone ringtones that only teens should be able to hear (I’m 39 and I can hear those ringtones, so go figure). So if you’ve got a gaggle of rugrats hanging out in front of your home or business, or just want to wreak havoc at the local shopping mall, you might want to pick one of these up.
