16-Bit Legend of Zelda PC Case is Link-tastic

Building custom cases is fun. They are a lot of work, but the end result can be very rewarding. Not only can they be works of art, but they actually serve a purpose, housing your computer. Some of them will just blow you away, like this custom Zelda case built by Richard Clinton (aka “8Bit Builder”.)

You can watch him build it from start to finish in the video and it might even inspire you to make one like it. The end result here is simply amazing. Link even has a cool light-up sword. Block-by-block, Richard builds a video game masterpiece.

So check out the video as he builds his 16-bit Link PC case based on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and go on the adventure with him. Because as you know it’s dangerous to go alone.

Zelda iPhone Case for Storing Iphones, Not Rupees

Oh man, this little gem couldn’t have come at a better time. You see, last week I was overcome by a powerful urge to replay The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. And so I did. In fact, as I write this post, poor little Link is idling at the Tower of Ganon waiting for me to help complete his quest.

I’m also on the verge of finally purchasing an iPhone. Now that I’m making some money in life (big news!) and have recently learned that you can purchase refurbished iPhones at a considerably less “thanks for not [expletive deleted] me over big time” price.

Also, I’m terribly prone to impulse purchases, and $20, which is how much this Legend of Zelda iPhone case is selling for at Etsy, is a very impulse-friendly kind of price. Plus, I really dig the “homemade” look of it.

So yeah… consider this transaction transacted.

It’S Dangerous to Go Alone! Take Zelda Homebrew.

Look familiar? Almost, but this is not The Legend of Zelda you grew up with! The Legend of Zelda: The Shards of Light is a homebrew remake for the DS that seeks to expand and improve on one of the greatest games of all time, the original adventure of Link.

Look at all those items you can use there. Four! Add a cunning use of the DS’s dual screens and you have something that will be shut down before completion that looks like a pocketload of portable fun. Creator BassAceGold even promised achievements of sorts.
