Do you know what that fourth triangle in the Triforce symbol stands for? That upside-down one? It stands for what you need when you’ve run out of strength, when you need to forget moments when you showed your lack of wisdom, and of course the times when you need courage. It stands for the Triforce of Inebriation. Okay I just made that up, but these cool wooden coasters are for real.

The coasters are made of walnut and maple and have been finished with lacquer. Each coaster is 3.5″ on each side and about a quarter of an inch thick. Get them from Etsy seller 1337motif; $50 (USD) – or 450 Hylian Rupees – buys you a pack of six.

Oh man, this little gem couldn’t have come at a better time. You see, last week I was overcome by a powerful urge to replay The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. And so I did. In fact, as I write this post, poor little Link is idling at the Tower of Ganon waiting for me to help complete his quest.

I’m also on the verge of finally purchasing an iPhone. Now that I’m making some money in life (big news!) and have recently learned that you can purchase refurbished iPhones at a considerably less “thanks for not [expletive deleted] me over big time” price.

Also, I’m terribly prone to impulse purchases, and $20, which is how much this Legend of Zelda iPhone case is selling for at Etsy, is a very impulse-friendly kind of price. Plus, I really dig the “homemade” look of it.

So yeah… consider this transaction transacted.

These crafty togs give you the chance to walk a mile in Link’s shoes, while forgoing the unpleasantness of dealing with crankypants Ganon and his evil plans.

Each pair is hand drawn (!) with permanent ink and Scotch guarded for extra protection. The appropriately named ohmy sells them on Etsy, and will make you a custom pair in your size for $42. Check them out or place your order on Etsy.
