This wristwatch conceals its dial behind a dark red filter that gives it a bold look that’s unlike any other watch I’ve seen.

The hands and numerals on designer Italo Fontana’s U-Boat Night Vision watch are actually yellow instead of white to enhance readability behind the deep red glass. The crystal itself isn’t red though. There’s actually a hardened K1 mineral glass crystal which sits beneath the red layer, and you can actually remove the colored filter by unscrewing a stainless retaining ring.

The watch features a substantial stainless steel case, and an automatic Swiss movement. All this style comes at a price, though. The Night Vision retails for $5,000 Canadian (appx. $4974 USD). You can find the Night Vision and other U-Boat watches from luxury watch seller Matt Baily.
