Celebrities can try to hide behind hoodies, don outrageous disguises, threaten violence if the photographers venture too close, or put a hand up to cover the lenses of the paparazzi. Or they can simply walk past them in these outrageous paparazzi shades.

Technically, they just cover the whole horizontal portion where your eyes are, but still. They won’t exactly render you unrecognizable, but they can hide a bigger part of your face than normal sunglasses or aviators can. Plus they sort of look good, in a Lady Gaga kind of way (and the model they used was pretty, so maybe that played a factor, too.)

These Paparazzi Shades were available from Urban Outfitters for $12(USD) but now they’re out of stock, so you might have to wait it out for a while until they get a new shipment of these in.

It’s extremely elastic and stretchy and comes in a whole host of loud colors. The Freaker also swears that it can fit over anything and everything and keep your drinks either cool or warm, as you like them.

Fit it over champagne bottles, beer cans, juice bottles, wine glasses, and even your own arm! These guys have been in the biz for a while now but the people behind Freaker have recently launched a new project to produce a special edition Kickstarter Freaker.

Fancy a Freaker with shades of blue or a pink one with a white skull in the middle? There are currently 30 designs for the Freaker so you might want to start collecting ‘em if they’re up your alley.

There’s a whole list of offers and various Freaker packs they’re giving away to backers who pledge $25 or more. They’re also promising to throw you and your friends a BBQ or Grilled Cheese party for pledges ranging in the $2,000-$3,000 zone in the official Freaker box truck.

Auto-modder Edd China of Cummfy Banana has fabricated these ridiculous motor vehicles, fashioned to look like ordinary furniture. In addition to the speedy bed pictured above, he’s also built an oversize office desk on wheels, complete with multiple swivel chairs.

But his pride and joy is the “Casual Lofa,” which was once listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the “world’s fastest furniture”. The Lofa is a motorized sofa that tops out a speed of 87 MPH. (Edd beat his own record sofa speed in 2007, by getting a sofa to drive 92 MPH – go figure).

If you happen to live in the UK, you can get a chance to take a ride on all of these vehicular monstrosities thanks to a special “day at the races” tour package that lets you experience them all.

The guys over at IWantOneOfThose are now offering the World’s Wackiest Racers package, which includes rides on all three of these oddball pieces of furniture, as well as a funky double-decker car. The 3 hour experience is conducted with a group of up to 6 participants, and will set you back £99 (appx.$163 USD).

See that? That’s putting the fun into function. Or maybe the absolutely ridiculous, but really, those words don’t look alike.

As you might have already guessed, the keyboard gun brush is another product of Japan, also known as the land of utterly weird solutions to basic problems.

See? The packaging even warns that it was made in Japan. Seems a little self-deprecating to me, but hey—maybe that’s why I’m not in marketing.

This crusty crustacean toothbrush holder comes to us courtesy of the Plywood store on Japan’s Rakuten online mega-mall. While hanging onto your ceramic tile with a sucker fit for an octopod, the aptly named CRAWFISH holds onto your toothbrushes with a grip that only a deep-sea creature could have.

They cost just ¥714 each (appx.$6), which means that you’ll end up spending more shipping them from Japan than what they cost. But for a statement in bathroom decor that’s this great, it’s worth it.
