Looking to accessorize with a bracelet that’s not loaded with hearts and cute little charms like hearts and shiny gems? Then look no further than this charm bracelet, bedecked with tiny little weapons.

Created in Northern Ireland by jewelry artist William White, the Killer Charm Bracelet comes with a Walther PPK, a hand grenade, hatchet, monkey wrench, a cleaver and a chainsaw. The deadly sterling silver charms sort of remind me of the game pieces from Clue – except there’s no tiny noose or candlestick here. What makes this bracelet really cool is that thanks to its deadly charms, it could be worn by either a girl or a guy too. Personally, I’ve never worn a bracelet, but I might start with this one.

If the $230 to $300(USD) bracelet is too much for your wallet, be sure to check out William’s Etsy shop, where you can also find individual weapons on necklaces or earings for $50 to $80 each.

With the release of Prometheus just weeks away, it’s easy to forget about the classic Alien and Aliens films which created the universe in which the new film is set. But I can assure you that if you buy this gun, there’s no way you’ll forget about Aliens. Ever.

That’s because this replica of the Colonial Marines’ Smartgun is impeccable – and huge. This massive weapon is a full-scale reproduction of the one used in Aliens. This thing is not only huge, but it’s got to weigh a ton, as its made out of aluminum, resin and steel. It’s a real masterpiece of prop-building, and it’s ready to take on whatever nasty alien you can throw at it.

This custom-made replica pulse rifle comes from Movie Guns Inc. over on Etsy, and is just one of the many awesome replicas they’ve made of classic movie weapons. Chances are that you won’t be able to afford the $2700(USD) price tag on the Smartgun replica, but if you love Aliens, you might want to check out their M41-A pulse rifle replica, which sells for “just” $1795.

Though in this case it just shoots Nerf bullets, so there is no way that you are getting hurt. You’ll notice that it has no frame, but he’s working on one. That will make it look more like the turrets we know and love.

You’ll also notice that it even talks in that weird creepy voice. It’s an awesome project and i can’t wait to see the frame when it is added.

The truth is that the Goliathon is nothing but a toy.

To the professor’s credit it does look like it a weapon from another time, or at the very least something that can be used as a bludgeon. It has various metal embellishments, including copper piping, 4 gauges, a valve wheel and other brass trinkets.

Handheld weapon maker Patrick Priebe aka AnselmoFanZero is back with another laserrific armament. It’s a revolver with a design inspired by the Settler Pistol from the FPS game Rage, but with less grime and more brass. Also, instead of bullets, it’s loaded with a battery and fires a laser beam.

I love how the guns’ barrel acts as its battery compartment. I don’t love the laser. It’s BRIGHT. Seriously you might want to wear goggles just for the video. You definitely should wear goggles when firing this pistol because it has a 1.5W blue laser, enough to instantly blind eyes and burn skin.

Priebe said he sold the unit shown in the video for €600 (~$790 USD), but he can also make a “slightly simpler version” for less. I wonder what he’ll make for $5. A drawing of the gun perhaps? If you have more money than I do, just drop him a line on YouTube or Facebook. Also give me some of your riches.

Looking for something tiny that can inflict some damage on your enemy and remain hidden in a secret place? DoubleTap is the firearm for you. This little .45 caliber pistol from Heizer Defense is the world’s smallest .45, measuring just 5.5″ long and 3.9″ tall.

It weighs just 12 or 14 ounces depending on whether you get it in aluminum or titanium. The only drawback of being so small is that it holds just two bullets in the over-and-under barrels and another two in the handle. Still, if you are a good shot, that’s more than you’ll need.

For being the world’s smallest .45 it is surprisingly affordable at just $500(USD) for the aluminum version and $700 for the titanium version. But are your hands small enough to use it effectively?

Fans of the Devil May Cry series will immediately recognize this massive and beautiful sword as Dante’s Rebellion. Yeah, I know that’s not Dante holding it – the hair cut and color is all wrong. It’s metalsmith Michael Craughwell (aka “MichaelCthulhu,”) who in his own words simply says “Giant swords are kinda my thing.”

You got that right, Mike. From the looks of this incredible thing, you’ve definitely got the giant sword thing down. It’s made from steel and weighs in at a whopping 33.5 pounds, so you’ll definitely need some upper body strength if you plan on wielding this thing in battle. The only thing missing is the glowing red eyes for the skull. But a couple of LEDs and a battery should take care of that, right?

Want proof that it’s made out of metal? Watch this video clip and see how shiny the steel remains after a bath in 1000 degree fire. It also proves the sword doesn’t glow like Dante’s. He’d have to get the heat up to 2000+ degrees to make it do that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgR3mhwHfL4

If you’d like one for yourself, Michael will make you your very own Rebellion sword for $850(USD). The build takes about 2 months from the time you place your order. But even if you don’t buy one, be sure to check out the photos of this incredible build here.

I love it when geeks take virtual weapons from video games and recreate them in the real world. We’ve seen weapons created from wood and paint in the past, but my favorite is when they create the virtual weapons using LEGO bricks. For his Halo Reach weapon, LEGO is the medium of choice for a guy named Nick Jensen (aka “Nick Brick”) .

Nick built a full-size M45 Tactical Shotgun over the course of two months exclusively from LEGO bricks. He says that a little bit of glue was required in some particularly weak spots so it wouldn’t fall apart, but other than that, the gun looks very realistic and actually has some working features.

The coolest of the working features is the sliding pump-action.When the pump is moved, it also actually ejects a shell. How awesome is that?

I wonder what the design process that went into coming up with a workable pump-action slider entailed.

BTW, Nick is the same dude that made that Halo LEGO sniper rifle a while back. I wonder when he’ll build a LEGO Plasma Sword and LEGO M41 Rocket Launcher to go with.

A couple of weeks back, I spotted an iPhone case that looked like brass knuckles, but it turned out to just be a conceptual design. But for those of you who liked the idea of turning your phones into weapons, there’s good news – another company is already offering up their own take on the iPhone knuckle case – the knucklecase.

The knucklecase works with the iPhone 4 or 4S. It’s made from solid aluminum – so it would definitely hurt if you punched somebody with it – though probably not much more than if you hit them with your bare iPhone. From the looks of things, it’s a bit more compact than the iKnucks concept, but they definitely add some bulk to your phone. That said, if you’re going for a knucklecase, you’re doing it for the looks, not for the practicality. At least you know with your fingers through the holes you won’t lose hold of your precious phone.

So make a fist, and head over to knucklecase and be prepared to part with $99(USD) if you’d like one.

The chainsaw-equipped Lancer rifle from Gears of War is a favorite among prop makers, but Ryan Palsen and his wife Dena – known together as Kronos Props – just put another weapon from the series in the spotlight. Their replica of the Digger Launcher from Gears of War 3 is so authentic I can barely believe that the couple only create props in their spare time.

Palsen admits that one of the reasons why their replica looks so much like its in-game counterpart is because he was able to secure high-resolution pictures and 3D models of the weapon from Epic Games – the developer behind Gears of War – itself. He used these detailed resources to create the replica out of medium density fiberboard (MDF), styrene plastic, Apoxie Sculpt, Rebound 25, Smooth-Cast 300 silicone and other materials. As you can see the gun also has LEDs in front and on the sides to emulate the original gun’s glowing effect. His wife Dena is responsible for the amazing weathering and detail work.

If you live in a tough neighborhood – or perhaps one overrun with zombies – you might want to carry something to defend yourself with. While you could go with some brass knuckles, or maybe even some electrified ones, the iKnucks seem like a much more practical idea for today’s gadget-obsessed consumers.

A picture really does say a thousand words with the iKnucks, which doubles as both a case for your iPhone and a set of nasty brass knuckles. Actually, they look more stainless steel than brass from the picture, but that’s just a rendering. They even have spikes on the finger holes to really help dole out some damage.

There aren’t really any other details about the iKnucks, other than the fact that they’ve been posted up on Thingiverse by someone named CMWallace. Many designs posted on Thingiverse can be used to generate a 3D printed version, but it looks like we’ve only got some renderings at this point. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody tries to create a real version at some point. I certainly wouldn’t want to get into a scuffle with someone on their iKnucks outfitted iPhone, would you?

The Harmless Hunter KillShot camera is designed to look like a hunting rifle and lets you “hunt” without having to kill anything. It doesn’t shoot bullets. Instead it shoots pictures of the target, with crosshairs even.

There’s no accidental misfiring, no suffering animals, and no other hunters getting shot by accident. It can even be used as a safe training weapon. After all, it’s a simple camera that just looks like a gun. Maybe this will stop hunting in it’s tracks.

The Harmless Hunter is a Kickstarter project that is in need of funding to become a reality. A pledge of at least $150(USD) will land you one – assuming the project gets funded. Just don’t try and take one with you on vacation – it probably won’t make it through airport security.

I used to think that Dirty Harry packed the most hardcore weapon with his .44 Magnum. I’m not sure if that’s still the most powerful handgun in the world. Probably not. Certainly not after this double barrel semi-automatic. Why shoot one bullet when you can double down? Farmers and other shotgun-toting folk have it right. Two bullets are better than one.

Meet the AF2011-A1 “Second Century” by Arsenal Firearms. It will put two holes in whatever you shoot. This double barrel pistol is pretty beautiful and twice as deadly as your old one shooter. Rest assured that whatever you shoot is going down quickly if it gets hit with two bullets instead of one.

The gun is made in Italy and while I doubt they will be widely available to everyone soon – it seems like they are trying to entice the military and law enforcement with these bad boys. This is awesome and scary at the same time.

Even stock pencils can fly about 15 feet with the launcher, but he’s also doctored up some pencils with archery field tips on the ends to make them truly deadly at a greater distance. Another great weapon build, Joerg. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next. Also, I don’t ever want you mad at me. Ever.

You know, if I heard some gun maker talking about how they were working on railguns, I would probably laugh and move on about my business. When the U.S. military tells you it’s working on something as far-fetched as a railgun, it’s hard to ignore it, because the military and its various research arms, and its contractors have a long history of taking the improbable and bringing it to fruition. The railgun that I talked about a while back is a perfect example, this weapon is literally straight out of a video game, yet the military has made it real.

The U.S. Navy has test fired the first of two industry-built railgun prototypes. They had to use a very oddly shaped projectile that is not aerodynamic in the test so it would slow down quickly. The projectile looks sort of like an engine part to me and is a big and bulky thing. The Navy recorded one of the six test firings of the railgun constructed by BAE on video, and it’s pretty spectacular:

That is one the coolest videos I’ve seen from the military in a long time. I can only imagine how far an aerodynamic projectile would have traveled and the speeds it would’ve reached. The Navy plans to eventually fire an aerodynamic projectile from the weapon, with a goal distance of 220 nautical miles. You certainly would not want to be on the receiving end of that.

The brass paint, gauges and pipes are great touches, but otherwise I think this project still needs some work. There’s still too much of the original rifle peeking out. But that’s just me, and anyway I’m sure vanbangerburger can still tweak or build on his design if he wanted to. Like maybe make it shoot steam. Or punks. Or steamy punks.

If there’s one guy on the internet that we love around here, it’s master of all things slingshot, Joerg Sprave. The man has built all kinds of crazy rubber band powered weapons, and his latest is pretty great. It’s based on the Kabuto, a combination spear/slingshot wielded by Usopp in the Manga/Anime series One Piece.

Sprave’s version of the weapon has a four-point slingshot, mounted on a staff wrapped with grip tape. The stick has a deadly, sharp point on the end, which can be used not only as a weapon itself, but to hold the staff into the ground. This is an improvement over the original design, in which Usopp basically holds the weapon in mid-air, stabilizing it with his hand. It’s really quite an effective weapon, as you can see in the video below:

I certainly wouldn’t want to be the recipient of either end of this nasty weapon. Though I think I’d rather take my chances with a bruise from a 20mm steel ball versus a puncture wound from its stabby end. Though I guess it depends on how far away you were when he fired it. Either way, they both sound pretty nasty ways to go.

Last week we told you about a kick-ass homemade Airsoft machine gun. Well, now it is even simpler to make. Cheaper too, at just $4. In a follow up to the original video, two upgrades have now been added to the DIY gun, for those who don’t have an air compressor or just want their machine gun to be portable.

And who wouldn’t want a portable Airsoft machine gun? The first variant makes the original Airsoft gun totally manual. It just requires the soda bottle and the brake line. You won’t have to cut a hole in the bottle, just the cap. This gun will fire 5-10 pellets at a time, simply by squeezing the plastic bottle with a good grip.

The second variant is for those who want a portable, rapid-fire weapon, and it will allow you to hook it up to a backpack. This one costs more than the origina version, but you don’t need an air compressor since the tubes in the backpack can be filled with a bicycle pump. Pretty clever.

Always remember when playing with this sort of stuff, safety comes first.

I attended an all-girls school, so there was none of those after-school brawls and fistfights that I heard were a common occurrence at coed or all-boys schools. Some guys “cheat” by wearing brass knuckles because it lets them pack a meaner punch. But what packs the meanest punch of all are these Knuckle Blaster Stun Guns.

These are nothing like brass knuckles. In fact, they’re actually covered with a soft, rubber skin – totally unlike tough and hard brass. It can do way more than what the brass version can because it’s actually a stun gun in disguise, which is why it would totally be unethical to use these in fist fights.

What you can use this for, however, is self-defense – assuming it’s permitted where you live. Stun guns aren’t legal in many places.

Just flip off the safety and power it up in one hand to send a whopping 950,000 volts of shocking pain throughout the crook or perpetrator. A few seconds will send them running in shock, but a longer contact time will eventually bring them to their knees.

And you thought you had a strong punch.

The Knuckle Blaster Stun Gun is available from Amazon for about $48(USD).

Hasbro will soon launch an augmented reality laser tag blasters for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Sorry Android users, you’ll have to wait a while; Hasbro will release the complementary Android apps after they’re done with the iOS versions. Launching this August, the Nerf Lazer Tag System will make use of two blasters with a slot to mount an iPhone or iPod Touch to display “gear and remaining power” as well as the virtual laser projectiles. No word if the app will emit sound effects or if you’ll have to shout “pew pew pew” while you’re playing.

As you might have guessed, the blasters will need two things to work. Actually make that seven: six AA batteries and a free complementary app (shown below). According to Hasbro’s announcement, the Lazer Tag system will be able to detect shots fired from more than 700ft away. That range is reduced to 250ft in bright sunlight, although I’d say that’s still a generous distance to work with. The Lazer Tag system will also feature unlockable equipment and leaderboards.

The app will also have a single player mode where the user hunts and fires at virtual targets while still earning points and unlocking goodies, none of which will make up for how pathetic you’ll look when you’re playing the game on your own.

As I mentioned above, the Lazer Tag system will launch on August 1 and will be available for order from Hasbro’s online shop. The blasters will sell for $40 (USD) each, but you can also get a 2-pack for $70. Hopefully you won’t have to incur the costs of broken iPhones and friendships as well.

I have edited this post to reflect the correction and added information provided by Lazer Tag software engineer Brian “TagFerret” Farley. Brian works for Shoot the Moon, the company that holds the rights to the Lazer Tag brand name. He’s also the co-inventor of the popular Lazer Tag Ops line, so if you meet him in the battlefield I think it’s safe to say that you’re toast. Thanks Brian!
