The cool thing about the XCM Blue Blood is that it’s actually a kit that you can use to mod your boring white Xbox 360 controller into a thing of true beauty.

Not only does the Blue Blood controller shell have the perfect electric blue finish, it’s super shiny, and comes with an improved D-pad design that’s larger and easier to move than the stock 360 controller. The controller also comes with a set of LED-illuminated replacement ABXY buttons, along with dramatic blue backlighting for the dashboard, select and start buttons. Sweet, indeed.

Despite its name, the new XCM Black Light Chameleon case doesn’t actually have a black light in it. But it is black, and it has lights in it, so there is truth in advertising after all. The sleek black case has a set of bright color-changing LEDs that let you choose from one of 7 colors of your liking. You can also set the LEDs to gradually cycle between colors if you can’t make up your mind. In addition to the backlit clear window on the side of the case, XCM includes a matching AirTube Chameleon, an illuminated replacement for the 360’s fan shroud.

XCM provides everything you need to swap out your Xbox 360’s case including a matching faceplate, DVD bezel, eject button, a case opening tool. From start-to-finish, you should be able to change cases in about 10 to 15 minutes. Not bad.

Keep in mind this case is for Xbox 360s with an HDMI port. If your model doesn’t have one, the case won’t fit. You can get your hands on the XCM Black Light case over at Extreme Mods for $89.99 (USD).

The new XCM Eye Candy replacement shell kit lets you coat your NDSi in luscious candy colors. And better yet, you can see through to the guts of your handheld and see all of its inner workings.

In addition to the bold candy apple red, emerald green, electric blue, there’s a clear shell and matte black and white if you really want to stick with the DSi stock colors.

Each kit comes complete with color-coordinated shell and matching buttons to complete the look. XCM even includes the proper screwdriver in the kit so you don’t need any extra tools to replace the shell. Of course, you’ll want to read over the detailed disassembly and assembly instructions before your break your precious handheld.

Get a transparent faceplate for your PSP-3000 so you can see its inner beauty, and you’ll realize that even though it’s not the hottest thing on the market anymore, it’s still a technological wonder.

No XCM product line would be complete without a touch of chrome. There’s nothing like a shiny faceplate to make your PSP-3000 feel special again.

The Chrome faceplate is available at Gaming Generations for $23 USD. The Smooth Black is also available at Gaming Generations for only $20 USD.  Unfortunately none of XCM’s official distributors were selling the transparent case as of this writing, but I’m pretty sure they’ll have it soon, so keep an eye on those sites if you want to get the see-through one.

The new XCM Hyper Gear case for the DS Lite not only gives your handheld a new look, it turbocharges your games. See that little switch that says “N”, “1.4X” and “1.7X” in the bottom right corner? Just flip it, and your DS Lite will run at 140% or 170% of its normal speed. Presumably, it’s safe to overclock your DS Lite, but it’ll probably end up draining your battery like mad.

XCM expects to release the Hyper Gear case in the next few weeks, and you’ll be able to find it at online modding retailers including Extreme Mods and Total Console.

The new XCM Crystal Controller Kit not only redresses your 360 controller in a spiffy clear skin, but it also adds a brand new oversize D-pad that’s designed to prevent you from mistakenly pressing it in the wrong direction.

I can speak from experience when I say there’s nothing worse than accidentally selecting that plasma rifle when you meant to select the rocket launcher.

Of course, the best part of the Crystal Controller is that it comes pre-wired with a gorgeous array of nine colorful LEDs which illuminate the A/B/X/Y, back, start, dashboard and shoulder buttons.

You can get your grubby little paws on the complete Crystal Controller kit over on RenChi for $29.90.

The case replaces the entire exterior of your 360 to produce an out-of-this-world green glow when placed in a darkened room. When the lights come on, it still looks pretty cool, letting you peer inside the guts of your console through a pearly see-through outer layer.

The XCM Magic Night Glow face plate attaches onto the front of your Sony PSP (slim model only), and look totally different when the lights are off than on. Take this one for instance. In the daylight, it gives your PSP a nice tomato red finish.

But shut off the lights, and it has an orangy-yellow glow. Cool.

The face plates come in a variety of colors, including pearl, yellow, blue, red, green, and pink — most of which glow in a surprisingly different hue when in the dark.

I couldn’t find a price for these suckers yet, but I’m betting they’ll be around $25 each. You should be able pre-order XCM Magic Night Glow covers for the PSP from our friends over at Extreme-Mods any day now.

XCM’s Smart Face Plate snaps onto the top of your PS3, giving it a new facade without major surgery. Just remove a couple of screws from the top of your PS3, slide off the old cover, and slide on the new one. In less than a minute, your console will have a whole new look.

While I prefer the mirrored chrome look shown in the photo, the plate also comes in white, yellow, green and (for some odd reason) black finishes. You can find the Smart Face Plate over at Extreme-Mods for just under $20.

This chrome Xbox 360 shell wraps your console with a gorgeous surface that’s so gleaming that you could use it as a mirror (a bendy circus mirror for sure, but a mirror nonetheless).

The case has just started shipping, and should be available for around $60 from Extreme-Mods any day now. If that’s not enough chrome for you, there’s a matching chrome hard drive cover for $25 and an LED lighted controller replacement shell for about $30.

By combining a standard Wii shell with a see-through XCM Hot Rock case, he was able to preserve the main design features of the Wii, while adding a cutout Wii logo and a color-cycling disc slot loading mechanism.

The XFPS Mini Guitar has all the controls you need to jam out, with none of the bulk. This controller isn’t a piece of junky plastic either. The body is actually crafted from wood, just like a real guitar.

It’s got a real heavy-duty metal whammy bar, and just looks solid. Heightening the cool factor are these light-up buttons on the neck of the guitar.

Costing $69.90 (from Play-Asia,) the controller ain’t cheap, but the build quality looks really great, so it’s probably worth it. One rather substantial caveat: to use it on an Xbox 360, you’ll also need to purchase their $69.90 XFPS 360 controller adapter, since the controller has a PS2 connector on it. If you’ve got a PS2, it should work right out of the box.

The Chrome I-Case for Wii costs $37.99 and should start shipping around the end of March (you can pre-order one here.) Installation is said to be easy, which is unusual for a full case replacement. The I-Case will also be available in crystal blue and black finishes if this one is too shiny for your taste.
