For anyone who’s played the game Saints Row for the Xbox 360, you know it’s riddled with graphical glitches and hiccups. Now some dude by the name of Cabel has put together a fun little musical ditty that mashes up these glitches with an off-off-off-Broadway musical…

The folks over at Boing Boing dug up this fun little stop-motion video features a handful of arcade classics, brought to life through the magic of candle-mation (that is, animation done completely with tealight candles).

Pac-man, Pong, Space Invaders and Tetris all make an appearance, along with a nice little musical Mario tribute. Now wasn’t that fun?..

Watch and learn…

Funny thing is… I’m pretty sure I’ve been a customer of all of these companies at one point or another.

Yesterday, Saturday Night Live did a not-so-funny parody of Apple’s iPhone announcement during their Weekend Update segment. But that made me think about a couple of times in the past when SNL was a little more on the mark with their Apple parodies…

While many of us were pretty wowed by the industrial design and user interface of Apple’s forthcoming iPhone, but with a bunch of other internet-media-smartphones out there, is it really all that unique?
LG would like us to think that Apple’s beauty really isn’t all that different…

You can’t really appreciate how impressive the Apple iPhone user interface is until you see it in action. Thankfully, CBS News has posted a close up video of an actual iPhone in action at this week’s Macworld conference:

The whole motion sensor thing when you rotate the device just seems so right. I’m also really jazzed about the navigation of lists such as those in iTunes…

Check out this video clip of some of the horrifically painful load times for the new Sonic the Hedgehog game, running on the Xbox 360.

Not only are the load times terrible, the shear quantity of load screens that occur to complete even a simple task are ridiculous. What the hell was Sega thinking releasing a game in this condition?..

Space Giraffe is the latest game from Jeff Minter’s Llamasoft, creator of such classics as Tempest and it’s various derivatives as well as the cool light show visualizations you see in the Xbox 360’s music player.
A video has now surfaced, showing work in progress on the game, and it looks like it could be the first live arcade game to give Geometry Wars a run for its money…

Some guy has set up this tiny little room with a tiny little 1.5″ diagonal color TV, connected to a life-size Nintendo Wii and posted a YouTube video for all to see:
