The glitch involves defeating Queen Gohma and activating, but not traveling through the warp gate. These boards measure about 12 x 17 x 1.5 inches and sell for $125(USD). Given the price I would say that it’s for hardcore Zelda fans only. They are handmade, so if you order one you will get it within 2 weeks as they take some time to create.

The console offers up a stunning automotive grade, clear-coated finish, with gold, silver and red accents, clearly reminiscent of the original Legend of Zelda gold cartridge. Ryan says they allowed the paint to cure for a full month between steps to ensure a perfect finish. I certainly would never have that kind of patience. But paintjob aside, the very best part of the design though is the intricate pixelated Link on top.

You might assume that it was laser cut, but it was entirely done by hand, which makes it way more impressive in its level of detail and clean construction. Utilmately, it took Ryan over 50 hours of cutting, sanding and soldering to work out the light up multi-colored Link character.

The icing on the cake for this mod is the accompanying launch video clip Ryan and his pals made, working with Avid Productions 479 on the video, and Will Chiles on the original Zelda-inspired score. It’s really a loving tribute to Zelda, and shows off the console in all its glory:

That’s the TARDIS-inspired Doctor Who jersey, complete with Police Box window graphic on the front and TARDIS shoulder patches. I don’t know if it’s bigger on the inside. Below is the Zelda jersey, which I think looks more bad ass, especially with the shield graphic.

Initially, just like with the first batch Dave had three designs, with the third one based on Battlestar Galactica. Unfortunately for BSG fans NBC Universal sent him a Cease and Desist request, which Dave promptly followed. You can view the banned design on Google’s cache of Dave’s web page if you like. That’s exactly the idea being put forward by Michael Inglis. The pictures show some of Inglis’ designs for a theoretical LEGO Zelda set.

Inglis already makes 3D printed Zelda swords that can be used with official LEGO toys, but he’s well aware that with their resources, LEGO – and Nintendo – can do so much more for fans, not to mention their bank account.

It’s not a dangerous idea, but Inglis can’t do it alone. Build a browser out of bricks and head to Lego Cuusoo to support his concept. Cuusoo is similar to Kickstarter, except it’s LEGO’s way of crowdsourcing ideas and gauging consumer interest in said ideas. Also, you don’t have to spend or pledge any amount of money to support a concept, so go ahead and vote. Just tell LEGO not to bother with a Navi minifig.

We don’t have much of information about this hack, but we know that the emulator will allow the Kindle to play at least two games: Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The controls are on the screen of the tablet.

As you can see, this isn’t one of those cheap mass-produced plastic Hylian shields you can buy at a costume store. It’s a handmade shield, crafted from wood, and wrapped with hand-tooled and dyed leather and upholstery tacks. It was made by Etsy seller Aradani, who creates all sorts of fun coplay accessories for conventions and Renaissance festivals. This particular Hylian shield measures 24″ tall by 18″ wide, and is based on the silver one Link donned as the Fierce Diety in Majora’s Mask, but can also be customized with the more traditional metallic blue if you’d rather go with that look.

It’s priced at $400 (USD) over on Etsy, so it’s not exactly pocket change, but if you’re a serious Zelda fanatic, it’s a worthwhile addition to your collection, and there’s clearly a ton of labor that went into making it.

The ring is made from stainless steel and will be available in sizes 5 to 13. I’m sure many a Zelda fan would love to have it as an engagement or even a wedding ring. ‘Cause if you like it/him/her then you should put a Link on it/him/her. Being politically correct sure ruins songs.

The map was inspired by the original game, but Gary520 also borrows elements from different Zelda games. For example, the map’s first four dungeons were based on A Link to the Past, while the fifth dungeon was patterned after Ocarina of Time. Three more dungeons will be added in the final version of the map. As you’ll see in the trailer below, Zelda Adventure lets you play as Link in first person. The final map will also have more than 20 weapons, including the Kokiri Sword and Shield, bombs and the Ocarina of Time itself, complete with songs to play. Also the Old Man looks exactly the same. I consider that a gameplay feature.
