I can’t think of much that’s less appetizing than zombies, but maybe that’s just me. Maybe painting gingerbread men as comic versions of the baddies from Left 4 Dead 2… can impart a sense of empowerment, a reversal, a sort of “in Russia, you eat zombies” kind of deal.

This Xbox 360 faceplate isn’t actually… bloody (I hope!), but it is certainly evocative of the horror of a zombie apocalypse–something that is becoming a more and more common experience with Xbox games every day. Seems like zombies are everywhere lately, bursting out of zombie games and invading everything else.

The somewhat-maligned Left 4 Dead sequel is scheduled for this November, just under a year after the original, but now grumblers have something cheaper (or, if you’re on PC, free!) to look forward to: a Crash Course in kicking zombies in the face. Or, uh, shooting… them there. Whatever.
