What are some of the most quotable films in your life? Is there a movie you and your family or friends quote faithfully and laugh at together? To be honest, half of the things I say are direct movie quotes. Chances are that its from one of these fine films listed below.
1. THE GODFATHER (1972)
The Godfather is a masterpiece that tops many best-movie lists. Marlon Brando and Al Pacino both have their fair share of unforgettable quotes.
Here are some popular ones:
- “Revenge is a dish that tastes best when served cold.”
- “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.”
- “I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse” (if you say it in your best Marlon Brando voice, it multiplies the intensity).

2. MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL (1975)

4. AIRPLANE! (1980)
Surely (inside joke for those in the know), a movie quotes list cannot be called complete without adding Airplane!

This iconic musical comedy has a lot of punchlines, as well as a lot of soul. Yes, pun intended. They’re on a mission from god.

9. FIGHT CLUB (1999)
Fight Club is arguably acclaimed director David Fincher at his best, anchored by two excellent performances by Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.
