MP3 players keep getting smaller and smaller, and soon you’ll be able to pick up a new credit card sized MP3 player that’s so thin, it can fit in your wallet.
The Wallet MP3 Player from Walletex is just a little bit thicker than a credit card. As an added bonus, the player is waterproof, dustproof and temperature resistant (although I wouldn’t put one in the oven). A single, multi-purpose connector will let you connect headphones, a charger or a USB data connection.
Walletex is positioning the players primarily as a corporate/promotional gift item, since it has the ability feature custom branding covering both sides of the slim device. The Wallet MP3 should be available by June 2007, and will come in capacities ranging from 128MB to 2GB. Pricing has not yet been announced.
