 |  |  |  |  |  |  |  |  February 13, 2007

If you’re just too darned lazy to set up a complete home theater system, this piece of furniture might be just what the doctor ordered. The Evesham Sound Stage X1 is not only designed to hold your widescreen flat panel television, but it’s a complete 5.1 surround sound system.

Evesham Sound Stage X1

The piano black and glass stand incorporates everything you need including speakers for front left/right, center, rear left/right and a subwoofer. An on-board amplifier provides 30 watts per channel to the left and right channels, 20 watts to the center, and 50 watts to the sub. To create a surround effect, the system bounces the rear channel sound off the walls at an angle to reflect the sound behind you. Simply plug in your DVD player or other audio source, set your TV on top, and you’re ready to go.

The X1 is currently available in the U.K. for
