Infinity and Jbl Subwoofers Go Wireless

Infinity and Jbl Subwoofers Go Wireless
Building out that ultimate home theater, but can’t deal with wires running all over the place? Sure, there are plenty of virtual surround systems which consolidate the front, rear and center satellite channels. But all of those really require a subwoofer if you want any meaningful low-end.

Sound Activated Mini Dancing Monkeys

Sound Activated Mini Dancing Monkeys
The title speaks for itself. Sound Activated Mini Dancing Monkeys has to be the best product name I’ve heard in a long time. What more can you ask for than mini monkeys that dance along to sounds?

Boombox and Walkman Plush Creations

Boombox and Walkman Plush Creations
Check out these awesome soft fabric pieces of audio gear. I can’t decide if I like the Boombox or the Walkman better. I love how the artist even made a little pair of headphones and some cassettes to go with the portable tape player.

Bookshelf Stereo or Stereo Bookshelf?

Bookshelf Stereo or Stereo Bookshelf?
Somebody at Pottery Barn’s PBteen division was assigned the task of creating a bookshelf stereo, and appears to have taken the concept a bit too literally by creating a bookshelf with speakers built into it. Actually, the Modular Speaker Double Shelf is actually a pretty clever idea, combining both a sound system and a storage unit into a single piece of furniture.

Is That an Atomic Clock in Your Pocket?

Is That an Atomic Clock in Your Pocket?
Recent breakthroughs in physics and component miniaturization have enabled the creation of an atomic clock that measures just 2″ x 2″ x 0.7″. Symmetricom’s SA.3Xm miniature rubidium atomic clock module is about 1/5th the size of the smallest atomic clocks which are currently available.

Zelda Mosaic Immortalizes Link in Stained Glass

Zelda Mosaic Immortalizes Link in Stained Glass
Here’s something for true fans of Nintendo’s classic Legend of Zelda adventure series. Etsy contributor ProphetofDoom recently created this wonderful mosaic version of the video game’s protagonist Link. Handmade from thousands of individually cut pieces of stained glass, it took the artist over three months to complete.

They’ve Got the iPod, We’Ve Got the Ibird

They’ve Got the iPod, We’Ve Got the Ibird
Your fancy new iPod might have a touchscreen and Wi-fi, but I’m pretty sure it can’t do this. Not only does the iBird-1000 MP3 Player look like a bowtied penguin wearing headphones (I couldn’t make this stuff up), it can move its mouth and “sing” along with your music.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Release Date in 2007?

Metal Gear Solid 4 Release Date in 2007?
Word on the street for a some time now has been that Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PlayStation 3 was almost certainly delayed until some time in 2008. Now, it appears that the game could hit shelves this year after all.

9-Volt Flashlight: a Simple, Bright Idea

9-Volt Flashlight: a Simple, Bright Idea
This tiny flashlight is about as minimal as it gets. Just snap the little LED light unit onto the top of any 9-volt battery, and voilà, you have a fully functional source of illumination. The compact light includes a trio of super-bright LEDs, which should be plenty for helping you find your keys in the dark.

Robot Watch Transforms Into Tiny Desk Clock

Robot Watch Transforms Into Tiny Desk Clock
I’m absolutely in love with these cool metal robot watches. Not only can you wear them on your wrist, they pop out of the band to become mini-clocks you can put on your desk. Each of the little guys has flexible metal arms, and a little pair of “headphones” on top of his head that come in handy if you want to hang it from a pendant or a keychain.

Ferguson Hill Clear Speakers: Do They Make You Horny?

Ferguson Hill Clear Speakers: Do They Make You Horny?
At almost 5.5-feet tall, you certainly won’t miss these giant speakers in your living room. The Ferguson Hill FH001 loudspeakers feature a huge acrylic horn balanced on a delicate aluminum base. The speakers’ massive horn design allows them to crank out plenty of volume with as little as 5-watts of power driving them.

Adobe Photoshop Cs3 for iPhone

Adobe Photoshop Cs3 for iPhone
So now that you’ve snapped a few photos with your iPhone’s super-duper camera, where do you turn to edit your pix? Do you dock your iPhone with your computer, sync up with iTunes, then open the photos in your desktop image editing software?

Xbox Controller Swallows Xbox 360 Controller

Xbox Controller Swallows Xbox 360 Controller
Console Mod Man Ben Heck is at it again. Now he’s taken the mammoth controller from an original Xbox, gutted it, and stuffed it with the contents of an Xbox 360 wireless controller. Other than a little Xbox Guide button he added between the “Back” and “Start” buttons and the built-in headset jack, you’d never know this wasn’t just a plain old Xbox controller.

Look Mr. Bubbles, We’ve Been Etch-a-Sketched

Look Mr. Bubbles, We’ve Been Etch-a-Sketched
Given the fact that for my entire life, I’ve been completely incapable of drawing anything but some straight lines and the occasional stair step on an Etch-A-Sketch, this image simply blew my head off. I was already duly impressed with the detail that artist the Etch-A-Sketchist has been able to squeak out of the little red and white drawing toy.

Super Melty Mario

Super Melty Mario
There’s really not much I can say about this oddity, except that it’s a handmade candle featuring the likeness of Mario, along with what I think are some butterflies and ribbons. The artist says that the outside won’t burn so you can reuse the candle with a tealight inside.
