Guitar Hero Custom Wood Guitars Rock

While games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are a blast to play, their out-of-the-box guitars don’t have a tremendous amount of personality. Now you can get your hands on some beautifully handpainted guitar controllers that’ll have all of your friends green with envy.

Guitar Hero Art Guitars

Each limited edition $399 ArtGuitar is individually painted with logos and imagery from popular rock icons. And this isn’t just a cheap surface paint job, it’s actually embedded under the coating of the guitar, so it won’t scratch off from excessive strumming. ArtGuitar starts out with a substantial real wood Peavey AG RiffMaster controller, then embellishes it with bold rock imagery licensed from artists including KISS, Lynyrd Skynrd, Ozzy Osbourne and Pantera.

KISS Guitar Hero Art Guitars

At this point, the controllers are only available for the PlayStation 2, but hopefully they’ll get around to Xbox 360 and PS3 versions in the future. You can check out the entire collection over on the ArtGuitar online shop.
