Remember when controllers had corners and not curves? When speakers were bigger than a house? When storage was limited but personal? and rectangular? Remember when synths… Nevermind. Synthesizers still look the same. Oh wait. Remember when synths had no USB connection? Because there was no USB in the 80s?
If you can remember those days it’s because you ain’t drunk! If you ain’t drunk it’s ’cause you ain’t been partying! And you ain’t been partyin’ cause your shirts suck. Really Steve, no one knows who Tux is. Plus Tux isn’t really a nerd. He’s not even a real penguin. He’s not real period. So head on to fauxsure’s page at Etsy and get dressed the old-school-but-still-cool way.
All of fauxsure’s shirts are screenprinted, in keeping with the old school feel. I don’t even know what the hell that thing is beside the NES controller. You can probably name them all in 5 seconds. See, it’s a shirt and a conversation piece.
All designs are printed on American Apparel shirts, style 2001 for Men’s and style 2102 for Women’s. You can specify the color of the shirt as well as the designs, but if you’re not good at this fashion thing you can also let fauxsure pick the design color that matches your chosen shirt color.
You can also specify if you want a different shirt style aside from the default ones, but again make sure that they’re from American Apparel. Of course you have to tell them the shirt size as well.
All shirts sell for $21.50 USD. fauxsure also has bags screenprinted with these same designs, and they have other non-retro techie designs as well. Go and for once in your life be invited to a party that doesn’t raid or kill but just drinks and chills.
