SEGA today announced Genesis Ultimate Collection for the iPhone. The new app will provide a gateway for you to buy and play your favorite Genesis games, fully emulated to run just like the originals.
The initial version of the app will come bundled with Space Harrier II, but then once you’re inside the collection, you’ll be able to add new games, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin and Shining Force for starters.
Since picking up my PS3 Slim in October ’09, I’ve been in deep, starry-eyed love. Our relationship has had only one hiccup, just one point of contention: the stupid 操’ing 2ft USB cable I am forced to use to charge my controller.
No, you aren’t hallucinating. A Japanese modder managed to cram an iPhone into a Game Boy Advance – and I kind of like it, albeit in a sort of retro kind of way.
This is the perfect combination for someone who loves their iPhone as much as playing their Game Boy.
Granted, this isn’t a perpetual motion machine, but it is expensive and pretty close, so there ya go! This Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos clock will stand the test of time without ever losing a beat!
Just a quick thought, doesn’t this contradict the second law of thermodynamics?
Nah, just kidding. Maarten Baas isn’t crazy, just an artist. Baas made this weird, funny, and hypnotizing grandfather clock as part of his REAL TIME exhibit shown last year in Milan, Italy. The clock has no clockwork, no clock guts whatsoever.
…who will probably love it anyway. Like Upgrade Complete, the flash-based Is This A Game? focuses on one aspect of (modern) video games and just runs with it. And like Upgrade Complete, Is This A Game?
…and other culinary activities that I know nothing about. I’m not even worthy of wearing a gray apron, if you know what I mean.
In any case the World of Warcraft epic cooking apron is the perfect gift for skillful cooks who are also WoW fans (wonder how large the intersection is in that Venn diagram?).
Remember Luxo, Jr? You know, the little lamp that started the whole Pixar empire? This webcam from IPEVO sure looks like it could be Luxo’s long lost cousin.
The IPEVO CDVU-03IP Point 2 View (P2V) sure doesn’t have as cute a name as Luxo, but it’s every bit as practical.
You know me, slap some retro Nintendo stuff on anything, and I’ll probably write about it. Actually, no. It actually has to be cool. Here’s a little something for you gamer grlz out there who have a fond place in your hearts for your old Nintendo Game Boy.
Need some additional storage for your computer? Then you might want to check out these wacky hard drives, fashioned out of old VHS tapes. Sure, VHS tape tech is definitely obsolete, but aren’t hard drives on their way out too?
I love Lady Gaga. A lot. Don’t believe me? Check out my Last.fm page. That’s right; by my iTunes’ count I’ve played her tracks four hundred and fourteen times. The closest runner-up? Minus the Bear, at 133 plays.
This digital guitar runs on Linux and has a touch screen interface. How cool is that?
What is it exactly? The Misa Digital Guitar is a pressure-sensitive touchscreen MIDI controller that’s been built into a guitar body.
I don’t know if this is that revolutionary, but for a moment I was impressed with the fact that this battery-powered ferry can travel about 80 km with 800 passengers on board.
IHI Marine United is the maker of this plug-in ship that is powered by lithium-ion batteries.
If you want to keep your kids, girlfriend, wife or other significant other out of your porn downloads, this is most definitely NOT the way to do it.
This Over 18 USB drive from Japan’s Solid Alliance doesn’t do anything special, other than tell you that whatever is stored on the device is supposed to be for those over 18.
The video gaming part of the internet is abuzz right now with God of War III’s insanely giant creatures and/or environments. And if you’re a fan of the series, you’re probably pretty envious of people like Nick Chester of Destructoid, who were lucky enough to be allowed to play the demo involving Kratos fighting a giant water crab monster thing while the two are on the arm of the gigantic Titan Gaia.
