Isn’t it funny how businesses seem to love and hate their customers at once? Take Apple. Their OS is extremely easy to use and is in my experience just a tad more dependable than Windows. Yet all that user-friendliness goes out the window when it comes to hardware, what with the limited (or missing) ports. CableJive tries to make the Apple user experience a bit better with their new product, the duaLink Sync Splitter Cable.
As you may have guessed, the duaLink’s purpose is simple but much-needed by Macbook and Macbook Air owners. It allows you to charge and sync an iPod and iPhone at the same time using only one USB port. CableJive guarantees that iTunes will recognize both devices at once.
You can get the duaLink Sync Splitter Cable at CableJive’s online store for $26 (USD). It’s compatible with all iPhone and iPod models except for the Shuffle. I’m not sure though if you can use the duaLink to plug in two iPhones or two iPods at once, but I don’t see why you couldn’t.
