OK, I am no rocket scientist or NASA researcher, but even I know that winds aloft can be much stronger than the winds on the ground. You would think that despite a day being deemed calm on the ground, a group of scientists might check wind speeds aloft in preparation for the launch of a gigantic multi-million dollar space balloon.

Recently, the nerds at Google had a minor eureka: not all languages use the same alphabet, and yet a large number of personal computers are equipped with keyboards that feature the Latin alphabet, which is the one used by the English language.

While there a million ways to take your audio with you, most of them involve rather meek, tinny sound, thanks to the physical limitations of most earbuds and small speaker tech. The guys at digiZoid hope to overcome that problem with their newly-announced zo personal subwoofer system.
