Jumper iPad Clone Hits the Streets of China

If you’re too cheap to go out and buy an actual iPad, you might just be in luck – if you happen to live in China, that is.

This somewhat out-of-proportion iPad clone comes to us courtesy of a brand called Jumper. From the looks of things, the Jumper tablet has a 10.1″ LED backlit touchscreen, and is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 chip. Apparently, they managed to cram a tiny 250GB hard drive in the case too. It actually looks like it’s running Windows Vista, though, and not a true tablet OS. Well, it’s still pretty cool if you’re looking for a portable Windows machine, I suppose.

Oh, and that part about being too cheap to buy an iPad – forget that. Turns out that the Jumper retails for 3,999 yuan, which works out to be about $586 USD. So for the same price you could get a real iPad. Oh well.
