Stethoscope Headphones: Doctor, My Ears…

 |  |  |  |  |  May 25, 2010

Years ago, before I was a full time geek I had a real job of the sort you have to go to college for. It was boring, I hated it, and I was glad to find a job I actually liked. A new set of concept headphones have turned up that give me bad memories of that former life. The headphones look like a stethoscope and have a built-in mic and remote.

The things are designed to connect to a music phone or MP3 player. The mic lets you make and receive calls and presumably, the mic will let you answer and end phone calls as well. I can tell you from years of experience that the way a stethoscope clamps into your ears is far from comfortable.

I can only hope these I’m Not a Doctor concept headphones are more comfortable than a real stethoscope when in use. These would also be perfect for any lazy medical professionals who wants to look busy while listening to music or making a phone call.
