Two random images I found on the web today while searching for something totally unrelated…
Surprisingly, FederationLisa and KlingonLisa were created by two entirely different people, probably on opposite sides of the globe (or the universe).
Child of Eden is the latest casual video game from Tetsuya Mizuguchi, creator of REZ, Space Channel 5 and Lumines. The trippy psychedelic visuals and audio carry on the tradition of weird, wild, and addictive music games from the slightly off-kilter mind of the gaming genius.
Big N today took wraps off of their much-anticipated Nintendo 3DS handheld video game system at the E3 2010 show.
The new handheld looks sort of like a DSi, but features a widescreen 3.5″ 3D display at the top which requires no glasses to see the its 3D effect.
I remember the innocent days when the Wii was new to my house and my daughter was too young to care that it had games and stuff. When she turned five she started to show interest in Wii Golf and played with my son and me a bit.
David Hyman created this strange robotic hand that can be controlled via a wrist-mounted exoskeleton system. Because they’re as versatile as hot glue and duct tape, the whole thing is made out of LEGO parts..
The controller duplicates David’s exact moves on a remote robotic hand.
While Apple’s been touting the wonders of the iPad and iPhone 4, the Mac mini product team was feverishly working in the background on a major revamp of the classic small form-factor Mac.
The new Mac mini features a beautiful slim one-piece aluminum case, and measures just 1.4″ high x 7.7″ square.
This year a company called ShambroWest Corporation launched the “first-ever worldwide cable television network,” called GenosTV, which is a broadband-based service that will supposedly feature “cable, network and other media content from every geography and in every language across the world.”
Initially I bought UFC Undisputed 2010 for its career mode, but I ended up being disappointed with it, and so are a lot of other gamers. To make things worse, the online multiplayer is even worse than the career mode.
If I were to summarize the essence of Dragonball in one word, that word would be “power”. Akira Toriyama just kept on upping the ante, so much so that we could look past the fact that the franchise’ planet-destroying characters have ridiculous names, like Carrot, or Rice, or Bra.
At today’s E3 press conference, Microsoft lifted the covers on their greatly-anticipated update to the Xbox 360’s hardware. It’s not called the Xbox 360 Slim as anticipated, rather simple “The New Xbox 360”.
The New Xbox 360 features a smaller case then previous models (it was actually hiding inside an original Xbox 360 case before its reveal today).
When I first saw these LEGO guns, I thought that for sure that they wouldn’t be able to fire. But I’ve been proven wrong, and they can actually fire LEGO bricks. Sweet!
These weapons are all part of Jack Streat‘s collection and he’s made quite a few different guns, from AK-47 to the Famas G1.
This little instructional illustration says it all.
If you’re into little papercraft characters, you must head on over to Cubeecraft and grab these two cut-out kits of Half-Life’s Gordon Freeman, and his perfectly fitted headcrab accessory.
Like Grand Theft Auto and other sandbox-ish games, Super Mario 64 encourages players to dick around instead of defeating Bowser for the nth time. Unable to resist man’s urge to dick around, two Japanese gamers came up with a challenge on one of the levels of Super Mario 64: trigger the 1-up mushroom and collect all 8 red coins before the 1-up mushroom gets to them.
