The Most Complicated iPad Stand in the World: Thanks, Japan!

 |  |  |  |  |  |  |  July 16, 2010

Remember the $0.69 (USD) business card holder-turned-iPad stand? This is the exact opposite of that:

pc set stand

It’s called the PC Set Stand, and it’s made by Japanese company Resound. It was originally made for notebooks and portable DVD players, but then Resound realized that it works with the iPad too. It’s a helpful product if you’re bed-ridden I guess, or paralyzed from the waist down. Or suffering from chronic laziness. Just watch your head when you get up.

The PC Set Stand is being sold in Japan only for ¥15,540 (approx. $178 USD) via Resound’s website (it’s at the very bottom of the page).
