Taito, the creators of the original Space Invaders have been testing a new arcade game that involves yanking a tablecloth off a virtual table without knocking over all the stuff on the table. Weird, huh? Would you expect anything less in a Japanese arcade?
We’ve featured a variety of SEGA Dreamcast portable mods over the years, and up until now, I thought this one from China was the best. But you’ve got to hand it to modder Techknott. His portable is super slick, and I think it’s my new favorite Dreamcast portable.
It’s Earth’s Mightiest Heroes wearing the Earth’s Lamest Costumes, in black and white! Ivan Guerrero, who’s made what he calls “pre-makes” of Star Wars and Ghostbusters, recently employed his fantastic film faking fkills skills to make an Avengers movie pre-make.
Photographed during this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, this life-size TIE Interceptor is simply incredible.
I’ve seen a million scale models of Star Wars ships before, but this one blows them all to smithereens.
These drink coasters are the ultimate accessory for video gamers – especially if you have an Xbox 360.

If you don’t understand it, you probably shouldn’t be reading Technabob.
Ask and ye shall receive. At least that’s what young Navin got for his birthday present last year – a cake that looks like Chewbacca’s decapitated noggin on a platter.
I didn’t know Wookiee hair and teeth were digestible.
I have seen quite a few unusual mailboxes over the years, but this is definitely one of the nicest ones that I’ve seen. It was made handmade by Craig Smith for his front porch
This X-Wing Mailbox has survived 5 years without being vandalized or stolen, which is quite impressive.
Did you ever stop to think about what Super Mario’s life was really like? He goes around stomping on anthropomorphic mushrooms and turtles all day, but is that the whole story? Looks like this webcomic from Maneggs has got the answer and it ain’t pretty.
I have to be honest with you; I usually look at the people who buy the expensive collector’s edition video games with some amusement. I mean these people pay a lot more for the collector’s edition game to get goofy things like a tin box for the game or DLC clothes and such.
Ordinary wheelchairs require considerable effort from the person on them in order to move, unless of course someone pushes the wheelchair. However, in Japan (and probably other countries as well), some care facilities don’t have enough staff to accommodate the wheelchair-bound.
While a lot of games probably started out with just a sketch of a landscape or of the main character, I doubt there’s many games out there where its cover art inspired the actual game. But that’s exactly what the members of TIGSource did, turning Famicase art into actual games.
