Similar to the design of Art Lebedev’s Optimus Popularis keyboard, Microsoft Applied Science’s prototype input device features a completely customizeable digital keycaps and a full-color touchscreen at the top.
The adaptive keyboard can automatically adjust images on the keyboard and touch panel to match the appropriate application context.
If I am to be honest, my least favorite film of the first three originals is The Empire Strikes Back. The bit where Luke gets crammed inside the dead tauntaun was kind of cool. I did like that flick better than say any of the new trilogy, especially the one with Jar Jar Binks.
I haven’t worn a tie regularly in years. There’s something extremely uncomfortable when something is squeezing your neck like that. Also, they are a nightmare to wear when it gets hot. However, I do wear one from time to time when I need to.
I now know the real reason why the white iPhone 4 has been delayed: it’s either the mythical underpants gnomes from South Park or the teeny weeny white supremacists that have decided to mess with Apple’s production schedule!
So. Let’s see what we have here. Okay. This is a challenge. This G1 Bumblebee hat is made of fleece, and uhm, it’s puffy and yellow. I guess it does offer a degree of protection, which is cool if you’re a Transformers fan who also happens to be an amateur boxer, or if people are hitting you in the head because you’re wearing a Bumblebee hat.

Ah, there’s nothing quite like a truly unuseless invention. The Slink-O-Matic does one thing, and one thing only – it keeps a Slinky going indefinitely.

There’s been some buzz floating around the web about a special version of the Verizon Droid 2, decked out to look like the little R2 unit that inspired its name. The special-edition phone isn’t supposed to be shown until the start of tomorrow’s Celebration V show, but I stumbled onto this picture one day early, snapped by the folks at R2-D2 Central.
Here’s another new concept watch from those guys over at TokyoFlash. They call it Night Vision and it actually looks pretty good, thanks to the bright green lights on the face of the watch.
This is coupled with a matte body and strap.
Being six when the Rubik’s Cube was hot back in the 80’s meant that each Christmas for a few years there you were guaranteed someone would get you one of the damned puzzles. For me the only thing worse than opening up a box Christmas Day and finding a Rubik’s Cube was opening that box and finding underwear.
A new study shows that iPhone users have more sex than other cellphone users. I don’t know what could be a better endorsement than this. I’m just waiting to see the new iPhone sexy ads, “Wanna get laid?
Seagate’s new Momentus XT hard drive has most of the benefits of a pure solid state drive without most of the cons. The Momentus XT’s hard disk drive comes in three capacities – 250 GB, 320 GB and 500 GB.
It’s been a while since I found any new Space Invaders schwag, so when I saw these coasters, I figured they deserved a mention.
