LEGO Letterpress Proves There Are Few Things LEGO Can’T Do

I like to find strange things that are made from LEGO and when those strange things actually serve a purpose its even cooler. I ran across this LEGO letterpress like those they used for printing lots of letters and flyers back in the old days.

LEGO Letterpress 1

This letterpress doesn’t use metal or plastic letters though; it uses lots of little smooth LEGO blocks to make some very cool artwork that looks a lot like pixel art to me. You can see in one of the images what I mean. I am pretty sure that one of those characters is Patrick Star with boobs.

We don’t really have much in the way of details about this thing, but we can tell that the base plate for the press is just a large LEGO board and it appears to use the smooth topped bricks typically used to finish off a project. These would be the perfect artwork for a game room.
