I have had some really shitty days in my time, but one dude in China has given new meaning to the term. As the story goes, the guy was in the crapper, drops his phone down the toilet, and then rams his hand not just into the water, but down the damn poop chute of the toilet.
Remember that awesome Etch A Sketch Case that we talked about a few weeks ago that made your iPad look like the toy? I thought at the time what the thing needed was an app made for the iPad that would complete the illusion that the iPad is nothing more than the line art pimping toy from my youth.
Unless you live on the desert planet of Tatooine, it’s probably too cold to wear this one-piece R2-D2 swimsuit. But you can still buy one and keep it in the closet until next Summer, right?
The Artoo swimsuit available over at Black Milk Fashion for $85 (USD).
Are you looking for a unique decal? Take a look at this Game Boy Color iPhone 4 decal that will make the back of your precious iPhone look almost like a classic Game Boy.
Since this is a decal, you won’t be bulking up your iPhone.
Recently, Zug pulled a little prank – in outer space. It’s probably not the first prank in space as I bet the astronauts aboard the ISS and other spacecrafts have already pulled some pranks on each other.
Fallout fans will be familiar with this promotional item, as it was originally part of the limited Survival Edition of Fallout 3 a couple of years ago. That bundle was only available through Amazon and on top of that, for US residents only, making this super-sized replica quite rare.
Like many Japanese games, Mega Man has so many series that it warrants an intra-mash-up in itself: Original Series vs. Legends vs. X vs. Battle Network vs. Star Force. Mega Man vs. Mega Man, if you will.
Got an idea you’d like to prototype? A 3D model you want to see realized? Well, there’s good news with today’s announcement that Sculpteo, an online 3D printing service, is now available in the United States.
Ok, this is my kind of contest. The whole point of Sparkfun Electronics’ Anitmov competition is to create robots which are supposed to complete a trivial task in a highly inefficient way, in the course, destroying themselves.
Dell has gobs of notebooks on the market with all sorts of offerings that run from basic netbooks and notebooks up to high end gaming models. The computer maker has pulled the covers off a cool looking new notebook called the Inspiron 15R Alloy Edition that has a cool aluminum finish and laser-etched wave design on the top.
If you own a vehicle that runs on diesel fuel, you may have thought how cool it would be to make your own fuel at home using bio-diesel production methods. There are contraptions that you can buy for your home today that will make bio-diesel for you, but they look like moonshine stills and aren’t something you would really want around the house.
This steampunk R2-D2 has been lovingly made out of wood and brass. Although the astromech droid is now too small to fit an actor, he’s got some nice dials and knobs.
It was created by the artist Amoeblablok who says that he won’t be selling off this steampunk droid on eBay, but he wants to find a home for it.
When I was a kid, my brother and I would make tents out of a sheet and a box fan when our parents wouldn’t let us get out a real tent. All you had to do was put the sheet over the fan and you ended up with a ready-made inflatable tent.
While I had to take off my glasses to be able to see the resemblance, once you see it it’s uncanny! It was definitely important to get the colors right on each of these 3 pixels, as that’s not a lot to be able to identify a character.
I’ve seen a lot of awesome things made out of LEGO, but Peer Kreuger’s remote-controlled tank is now my all-time favorite. Even though Kreuger was inspired by the Metal Slug tank, to ‘Metal Grudge’ looks straight out of Vanquish.
