LEGO Letterpress Proves There Are Few Things LEGO Can’T Do
I like to find strange things that are made from LEGO and when those strange things actually serve a purpose its even cooler. I ran across this LEGO letterpress like those they used for printing lots of letters and flyers back in the old days.

Mechanicards Are Part Greeting Part Kinetic Sculpture

Mechanicards Are Part Greeting Part Kinetic Sculpture
I am not a card person. I rarely read them if you send them to me and if you don’t send them to me I won’t think twice about it. There are some people who are card people though and if you are the sort of card person that likes to send them, you need to get some of these awesome Mechanicards to give out.

Can Grandma’S Scooter Can Hit 69mph?

Can Grandma’S Scooter Can Hit 69mph?
I am sure that we have all been out and about at one time or another and ran across someone that had to ride one of those scooters to get around for some reason. Those things can be painfully slow when you are walking behind one trying to shop.

Paddock 10 Turns Your iPad Into a Mini iMac, Why?

Paddock 10 Turns Your iPad Into a Mini iMac, Why?
While I’m all for interesting iPad docks, this most recent one by SMK Link makes me wonder why anyone would buy it. True, it holds your iPad firmly, but it seems kind of silly to me to add on all that bulk to make it look sort of like a miniature iMac. The $100 PadDock 10 places your iPad into a stand that adds charging, syncing, and a pair of speakers for listening to your music or movies. It also lets you rotate the iPad to portrait or landscape modes, although it looks a little lop-sided when in portrait mode. Frankly, there are a bunch of different stands that will do the job well already, but I suppose if you want to turn your iPad into a mini desktop computer, the PadDock 10 is worth a look.

I’ve always been mesmerized by the crystalline structures of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, especially in the original movie. It looked amazing, and now I’m amazed to find out that there is actually something that looks like it in the real world. Check out the amazing Cueva de los Cristales (Cave of Crystals) in Naica, Mexico.

Pac-Man Kart Rally Hits Mobile Phones, Namco Fans Rejoice
I’d bet that many other gamers out there who grew up in the 80’s got their first taste of gaming just as I did with Pac-Man in the old school arcade. That was the first video game I ever played in an arcade, and it has a special place in my gaming heart.

Hrp-4c Singing Robot: Robo-Tune
Just like humans, singing is a (synthesized) talent among robots. Some have it, and some don’t. AIST’s HRP-4C, a relative of the HRP-4 humanoid robot, was born to sing like a human being. An in-house developed software called VocalListener is responsible for synthesizing a natural singing voice.

Earos Cushion Concept Should be the Scarlet Letter for Annoying People Who Talk on the Phone Too Much
I know I am not the only one that seems to constantly find themselves behind some asshat more intent on talking on their phone than driving, walking, or doing whatever it is I am trying to do.

Even Strippers Can Dress in TRON Gear
Generally, when I think of geeky clothing I think of guys and stuff like the TRON replica motorcycle suit. Apparently, there is a market for geeky gear for the ladies too, and Disney is all up on it with some new TRON items.
