Table Connect for iPhone Really Changes Everything

The supersized Table Connect is currently being made by three Austrian developers, and it is a sight to behold. It’s a 58″ touchscreen table that connects to an iPhone 4/3GS, enabling one-to-one control of the phone and of course a ginormous screen for viewing content. You can easily recreate Apple’s infamous 1984 commercial using FaceTime on this bad boy.

The picture above is just a mock-up; but you can see the real deal in action below.

It’s even got the iPhone’s glaretastic screen! Table Connect is very much a work in progress – it seems to be implied in the video that the developers want it to work without having to install an app on the iPhone if possible for instance – but it looks very promising. I can see it useful for presentations and meetings and such, but it would be cooler if it allowed for multiple iPhone connections and drag and drop sharing between phones.
