With the barrage of case + Bluetooth keyboard combos available for the iPad, one enterprising company has realized that the iPhone 4 presents a similar opportunity and came up with the Keyboard Buddy, a case for the iPhone 4 that has a built-in Bluetooth keyboard. The keyboard slides out from the side of the case, same as the Droid‘s keyboard.
The case has the usual holes in the right places, so you can still use/access the iPhone’s buttons and ports. The case also has an integrated mini-USB port for charging the keyboard (cable included). The keyboard can be turned off when not in use, but I doubt some users will still turn it off when they find out that the keyboard lasts up to 45 days on a single charge.
You can pre-order the Keyboard Buddy at BoxWave for $70 (USD); it starts shipping on December 14, 2010.
