This tiny keyboard is perfect for times when you need to control your PC or mobile device (or blind someone) from across the room.
Not only does it offer a 72-key QWERTY keyboard, but a tiny touchpad, and a new bonus not usually found on keyboards – a laser pointer. It’s a veritable Swiss Army knife of Bluetooth mini keyboards – except there’s no toothpick or bottle opener. Maybe next time. But can you think of another keyboard you could use to drive your cat crazy?
The pocket-size keyboard is supposed to work from an unobstructed distance of 20 meters. It’s supposed to be compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Linux, PS3, WinMo 5, Nokia Symbian S60 and above, and most Android phones. No word on whether or not you can use it with an iPad, though. Somebody out there needs to try that out and let us know if it does. As an added bonus, the mini keyboard also is backlit, so it’s great for presentations or home theater use.
Battery life for the mini keyboard is rated at appx. 1 week with moderate use, and you can recharge it via a USB connection. I’m not sure how much drain using the laser pointer and backlight put on the battery, but I’d have to guess it’ll drain much quicker.
You can grab the mini Bluetooth keyboard over at Chinavasion now for about $45 (USD).
