Verizon to Offer LTE Modem Support for Macs in February

 |  |  |  |  January 26, 2011

If you are a Mac geek that lives in an area that can get an LTE signal you may not be happy that Verizon doesn’t support you on their 4G network. The modems currently offered by the wireless carrier only support Windows machines.

Fret not, Mac heads with a penchant for fast mobile surfing; Verizon has announced that starting in February it will add support for Macs to its LTE modem offerings. Another good bit of news from Verizon was also added – the company has updated the software used by its LG VL600 LTE modem. The new software increases performance.

So all you Mac users out there, will you be getting a speedy LTE modem next month for your Mac?
