Star Wars Day of the Dead

 |  |  |  |  |  |  |  March 25, 2011

Artist John Karpinsky came up with these special designs of your favorite Star Wars characters for the Mexican Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), which is a holiday to celebrate all of your family’s recently deceased members.

While they are a little creepy, they’re still quite beautiful too. My personal favorites include Darth Vader (of course) and R2-D2. The Princess Leia one is kind of strange, but it reminds me of some Mexican art I’ve seen for this holiday.
