ColorClix Paint Matching App Saves Marriages

Once you have been married man for years you learn that there are some questions a wife can ask you that you simply can’t answer. Naturally, there is the classic “Do I look fat in this?,” which will get you in trouble at some point no matter which way you answer. My best suggestion to the newly wed guys is to fake diarrhea when asked that question, no one questions diarrhea. Another bad thing to hear come out of your wife’s mouth is “I think we should paint.” Nothing good ever comes from that statement.

I’m the “good enough” sort and my wife is the “it has to be perfect or I will never again stop talking about it until you eventually repaint it” sort of person, not that I am bitter or anything. Olympic has a new app that might just save your marriage when your wife wants to paint and the color has to be exactly like that napkin you got from your wedding. The app is called ColorClix and it is available for computers and for mobile devices.

The mobile app is the coolest and is available for iPhone and Android devices. The app has many features, but the coolest is Grab a Color. With this feature, you can take a pic of that damn napkin and get the exact color mixed at a paint dealer. You can also choose colors from images you already took. The best part is the app is free and you can grab it on the Android Market or iTunes right now.
