Circuit Board Necktie: Surprised it’s Not a Clip-On

I can think of few other ways to wave your geek flag as wildly at work than to wear one of these ties that looks just like a circuit board.

Michael Phipps of Scatterbrain Ties silkscreens these convincing looking circuit ties by printing metallic copper and silver inks on a green (or black) microfiber fabric. The artist doesn’t say what the circuit board is from, but without any parts on it, I doubt it would work anyhow. Though I think it would be cool if it actually had foil conductors instead of inks and had a whole computer system built into it. I can dream, can’t I?

If you want to wire up the circuit board tie for yourself, head on over to Etsy, where you can grab one for $30 (USD). If you want to go all-out, you can grab the matching T-shirt.
