Psyko has released two new gaming headphones, the Carbon and Krypton. They’ve updated the look and feel of their ‘phones, which is good in my book. They have better ergonomics than earlier models, including improvements to weight and fit.
The Krypton replaces Psyko’s earlier 5.1 headphones, and the Carbon is the luxury version, including gold-plated connectors, a braided cord, and high-performance speakers.
Both models include a removable microphone and a little amp for adjusting sound and volume, as well as LED directional indicators.
The Krypton sells for $150 (USD) while the Carbon costs $200. You definitely need something like this if you’re a hardcore gamer. Personally, I prefer using a cheaper pair for my Skyping/gaming and Sennheisers for my other needs, but if you’re looking for surround headphones, you should definitely check these out.
