Game Boy Case Protects 3DS From Damage and Thieves

 |  |  |  |  |  April 21, 2011

Video game modder Goteking gutted out a couple of Game Boys and used their carcasses as protective cases for his Nintendo 3DS. It’s quite brutal if you think about it, using your ancestor’s corpse to protect yourself.

To make the cases more convincing, they still have all their buttons and have fake title screens and cut-off cartridges. What’s funny though is that one of the cases was made out of one of those transparent Game Boys, rendering the ruse useless.

I guess the illusion will hold if you’re looking at the case from a distance.¬†You can check out Goteking’s blog for more pictures and details.
