This cool looking keyboard first appeared as a concept last year, and the Japanese company Minebea was considering making it a reality. They’ve just announced that they will release it in Japan on May 13th.
The amazing iPhone skin by Greg Koenig shows Apple CEO frozen in carbonite, just like Han Solo was on Bespin by Lord Vader to test out their carbon freezing facilities before trying to use them on Luke Skywalker.
Well, ain’t this a great topper to days and days of outage of Sony’s PlayStation Network. What we first thought was just an annoying DOS attack turns out to be far more insidious.
I just received the following e-mail from Sony:
Valued PlayStation(R)Network/Qriocity Customer:
We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011,
certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account

unauthorized intrusion into our network.
I’m all for recycling and eco-friendly products these days. It doesn’t help that tons of harmful wastes and pollutants are released into the air and the world’s seas every second of every day. And it really just breaks my heart whenever I see photos of sea creatures choking on pieces of plastics or polar bears stuck on a floating chunk of ice as the ice caps continue to melt because of global warming.
You remember Joerg Sprave, that dude that invented the machete flinging slingshot? Well he is back with another awesome DIY weapon. I am more surprised that he appears to be back with all his fingers intact.
Let me get this bit about me out into the open: I love calculators. I’m obsessed with them, especially scientific calculators. I blame my fixation on these calculators on Chemical Engineering, the course I took up in college.
Of all the digital cameras on the market one of the coolest brands is Leica. This company has some of the most expensive digital cameras around and they are known for quality and style too. I love the retro design of the cameras.
Star Wars movie buffs will recognize this jacket without need for any introduction or background info.
I personally only saw the Revenge of the Sith, the third episode in the Star Wars series, so seeing this fine-looking jacket motivated me to dig a little deeper into the scene where the Yavin medal made its appearance.
A few years ago we featured a couple of rear-view mirrors that doubled as monitors and supported Bluetooth integration for hands-free calling. It seems as if not enough morons have died on the road, because the distraction-packed rear-view mirror is back, packed with more distraction than ever before.
Sony has just announced the upcoming release of two new Android tablets. Wait for it, one of them has got dual screens! If that isn’t enough to ensure that you’ll buy it, check out what they’ve announced to make their tablets unique!
If you’re looking for a hidden camera that would blend in your office or appliance-packed house, this just might be the thing you need. Just plug it in and it’ll start recording as soon as it detects motion.
Can’t find Spotty or worried someone might’ve dognapped him? Squelch those paranoid incessant fears by clipping the Pet Loc8tor onto his collar. If you’ve got a particularly small pet and spend at least half an hour every day running around the house peeking under tables and sofas looking for your beloved pet, then this device is definitely for you.
I’ve been fortunate enough with my current desktop PC never to have seen the Blue Screen of Death, but it was a common occurrence in Windows Vista, Windows XP and many versions before it. While it hasn’t completely eliminated error messages, it looks like Microsoft has decided to change the colors of the infamous BSoD from blue to black in the upcoming Windows 8.
If you are the sort that really takes your privacy seriously and you use an iPhone or an Android smartphone you may have been following the privacy scandal recently in the news. It was discovered that both the iPhone (and Android) devices were tracking users’ locations and could be used to send that data back to Apple, Google or other companies.
Looking for the perfect gift for the math geek who has everything?… or the math geek who has nothing? How about a brightly-glowing Pi symbol? Contrary to the mathematical constant, there’s nothing irrational about this thing, but it will constantly glow when you hang it on your wall.
