District 9 ARC Gun: The LEGO Version

by Paul Strauss

I am truly humbled by the amazing things that people manage to do with LEGO bricks these days. Sure, there are way more shapes available than the simple squares, rectangles and green baseplates of my childhood, but it’s still impressive what can be done with these playthings. For instance, I’d really like to get my hands on this LEGO ARC gun, based on the one from District 9.

It was created by master LEGO craftsman Legohaulic, and Wikus himself would be proud to have wielded this LEGO ARC gun, which looks nearly as good as the full-scale replicas that WETA made a while back. If you don’t believe me, start scrolling down and check out the detailed view.

Not too shabby in comparison to the real deal, eh?
