Early last year we talked about a steampunk wired mouse called the Rotobotmouse made by Aaron Ristau. The designer is back with another new mouse for geeks that like retro mixed with modern called the Wireless Mouse Version 2 and it shares many of the same features with that original. The new version is more hubcap-like than the first one though, plus it’s wireless.
You can get v2 mouse in multiple colors and a couple styles. You can even choose what typewriter keys you want for your mouse buttons. This mouse has a normal scroll wheel and under the chrome or painted dome is a Logitech M305 wireless mouse. That mouse is powered by an AA battery good for several months.
You can order one up to suit your tastes for $180. I am particularly fond of the black one with spikes. These mice don’t look very ergonomic though. Check out the video below to see the mouse in action.
