We all know how cumbersome 3D glasses can be, and the holy grail of 3D is glasses-free tech. But that didn’t stop one guy from going completely the opposite direction. This 3D digital viewer not only requires that you look through lenspieces, but that you stoop over a wooden box to watch content.

With all the rumors that Apple is now working on their own line of televisions, it was only a matter of time before someone would start circulating some concept images of what an integrated Apple TV might look like.

Today is Halloween, so all the kids and a bunch of adults will be out tonight rambling around begging for candy to eat. It’s also time for Google’s Halloween doodle on their home page. Google often has doodles that you can’t figure out without reading the alt text, but this one is pretty straightforward.

If you are an iPhone 4 user and the only thing from the new iPhone 4S you are sad to be missing is Siri, check this out. A pair of hackers claims to have made a fully functional port of Siri to the iPhone 4S.

If they create anymore quadruped robots, we are going to need to build some robotic zoos to house them. We have BigDog, AlphaDog and now HyQ. HyQ was developed at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), in Genoa.

One day robots will enslave us, then kill us. I can’t see it going any other way. The only way it could be worse is if they captured us and dressed us up in uniforms first, because that just seems really demeaning.

French illustrator Grégoire Guillemin created these retro posters as part of his series Exercises in Style, which remind me of the golden age of superheroes. Each poster is unique and the typography matches the overall tone of the art.

We featured a line of cases for the iPhone 4 called iTattoo, but this odd customization deserves that name more, as tacky as it is. Made by Sirtified, the iTat creates a permanent etching into the back glass of the iPhone 4 (or 4S).

From what I gather, Minecraft is already a pretty scary game on it’s own, but this mod by Minecraft Forum member/Dr. Who fan/general cruel person a_dizzle makes being a blocky miner and crafter a lot scarier.
